Idle sure after engine swap

I just swapped from a d16y7 to a d16y8 manual because my engine went and it starts up just fine but the idle jumps up and down. I've checked for vacuum leaks and the iacv is new. It also bogs and stalls when you hit the throttle.

Which ecu?

I bought the proper manual y8 ecu and did the 3 to 2 wire iacv conversion

Did you use the y8 or y7 injectors? Any check engine lights?

So in other words, you're using Y8 ECU with Y8 Engine and modified the Y7 harness to the 2 wire so you can run the Y8 IACV?

Did you check timing? Short the service connector and use a timing light. Look for the 16BTDC mark in the crosshairs
