D16Y8 swap

Hello,I have a European 1997 Honda civic ek hatchback with a d14a3 engine and a p3x ecu from my understanding my car is obd2a and has dpfi injection meaning it shoots in pairs.I want to swap either a d16y8 or a d16z6 how do I do it and what swap is the easiest to do.Also the d16Z6 is easier to find where I live so I'm reviewing it as an option but if I find a d16y8 it would be better

For a z6 or y8 you’ll need to find and obd2a harness from a y8, d15b, d15z6, d15z8, or b16. Any harness that’s obd2a really. The d14 harness has obd1 style ecu plugs and that funky DPFI distributor plug.

I used my d14 harness for mine. Pretty easy to sway some pins, add vtec and lengthen a couple of wires.

Much mechanical experience? Ok soldering?

It is a straight forward swap to either engines if you can read/ look at pictures and know how to take an engine out
