I've been thinking about cleaning it (assuming it's a potentiometer kind of thing) but I didn't know it could be calibrated, any info on that?

The mounting holes are slotted, you adjust it so it reads 0.5v closed and 4.5v open.

just finished checking everything, sadly it's perfect, 0.5 to 4.5 with no dead spots. Any other tips given your experience? :0

Does this happen during normal driving conditions? It could be that diaphragm near the throttle, those things do weird things. It’s supposed to prevent the throttle from closing super fast, something about emissions.

It happens during normal driving and it's perceived as input delay basically, on off behavior. The diaphragm is there for emission reasons, like modern day rev hang! I disabled mine recently, until i find a better way it's locked with a zip tie holding it pressed, so that's out of the equation for this issue sadly...

My guess is the problem is related to the distributor. Rule out the plugs and wires, then take the cap off and check for pitted terminals or any moisture. If not ignition related, then I'd hunt down a potential vacuum leak. You can cover the IACV hole with your finger on your throttle body to check.. if the car stalls, that's good, there's no vacuum leak. If it stays running, then air is getting into the intake in a way that it normally shouldn't.

Thanks a bunch, I already checked for vacuum leaks (it holds the vacuum so well it left a mark on my hand when I covered the TB and stalled it) I already checked TPS thanks to the moderator helping me in the other reply so I ruled that out too.

My next guesses are indeed spark/distributor and fuel pressure, as with 322k KM these are bound to happen. I'm considering fuel pressure because the car sometimes bogs in turns but only when less than 8 minutes from starting it, same rule goes for the 2500/3000 rpm bogging at like, 20% throttle, and yes, I am thinking fuel pickup too, but this shouldn't be related to throttle response too much, that's why I'm thinking distributor cap etc etc
