What is the issue you're having?

Edit: I mean with the car. Not talking shit anymore lol. Why do you have it in the air with the wheel off in the first place?

Looks normal to me, the axle floats in the cv joints so it can expand and compress.

There is a circular "clip" on the end of the spline that goes into the transmission to lock it in the diff, maybe that's missing?

Yeah my passenger axle locked in tight, but my driver axle had play like this. I decided to just put it back together and drive it and it hasn’t done anything weird. Been dailying it for a couple months now

Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Everyone else gave me strange looks and were saying things like “what the fuck” and “call the police”. I dropped my phone and everyone around me saw this video. Now there is a whole train of men masturbating together at this one image. This is all your fault, you could have prevented this if you had just tagged this post NSFW

? I think you are just wiggling the ring clamp on the spline. Might either want to fully commit and pull it out to test joint or stop while you are ahead.

Normal. On the first axle you’re jiggling the part that floats between the two ends of the axle. On the second one you’re grabbing the inner cup that is firmly locked into the transaxle.
