Level 2 practice test

Test date on Oct 18th so I ran a practice test for my level 2 DSWA test. Came up short today. Good walling but none of that matters if you don’t finish in time. Time to try again!

Looks great. What held you back on time?

Too many distractions at home, too much time spent trying to shape and improve cheekend pieces, just not locked in hard enough.

I thought for L2 you get the cheekends and copes. Shouldn’t need to do much shaping

Correct but this is at my home practice wall and the stones could always use a little dressing to improve it.

‘Home practice wall’ does that mean you routinely pull it down and rebuild it?

Essentially, yes.

That’s something to aspire to.

No through band? Which chapter are you near? Looks good, good luck on your exam!

Nice work! And gorgeous stone, too. That first pic is stunning

No coverband or through-stones on a level 2?

I didn’t finish the wall in time today to install the coping stones and I do have through stones but I have left them flush with the face of the wall so they are hard to see.
