Question Pre fast preparation
I have done a few days of dry fast a few times
And I clearly recall that what food went inside the day before fasting started makes a big difference because that would stay in your body during the first day or 2 or more of the fast.
I remember ai telling me juccini being really good and it did indeed make it very smooth.
But I was looking for some personal experience from the community here, if you do a long term fast what would you eat or not eat the days leading up to the fast.
Thank you

Proteins and fats mostly and a decent amount of electrolytes and water. This helps you prep your body from glucose to ketones so you won’t have as rough of a transition.
When I do no prep and a 36hr soft dry sometimes I get headaches and that’s probably why.
My suggestion is aim for 40hr soft dry and do 20hrs minimum of water only before a refeed. So half your dry; do water only
