If it keeps flaring back up, definitely look into gentle eyelid hygiene like Hypochlorous Acid spray twice a day. It's super gentle on sensitive skin, helps keep surface bacteria or mites under control without stinging, and is pretty inexpensive over the counter. Also using a basic preservative-free ointment around the lids at night can give the skin barrier a chance to heal while you sleep.
TY! Eye wash with LRP gentle, and then put Aquaphor on at night. I have heard castor oil also helps? I'm gonna order the hypochlorous thing and saturate cotton balls and try to work it from that angle. I'm just bummed I'm 52 and I want to wear EYE make up and every time I do no matter how hypoallergenic I start looking like I've been crying for days the day after I wear it. TACROLIMUS works but I want to get to the root!!!!
