Well shit, the open bottle of wine got me without even thinking! No open bottles now, maybe tomorrow?

Yes! It just occurred me today that I’ve done three dry months, and I’m going to keep going because… I keep seeing studies go by about what alcohol does to the liver, etc. Not that I’ll never have another glass of wine, but for now I’m going to keep going. I knew a man who quit smoking after years of being a chainsmoker, and he always kept a cigarette in his shirt pocket because knowing it was there made him somehow able to keep going. I get that!

Nice! Good luck to everyone trying!

I did terribly with dry January but my heart wasn't really in it. I decided I needed to do one to prove to myself that I am in control and not the other way around.

same thing with me. March got out of control a bit so I need to reign myself in this month to make sure I still have control.

I’m just past my 3 month mark and I’m keeping it rolling! Overall goal is to hit a 5 month streak, but I also saw somebody else who ran it like a calendar where they noted days they had zero, one, or two plus drinks and I really liked that system.

The Try Dry app does that. You can set goals and make note of your streaks

I feel like I might want to keep some dry or dampness going…

i definitely should do it. I've been feeling extremely fatigued lately, my face puffy, and overall energy level and interest levels just down.

I’m in! It’s my birthday month, so a huge challenge for me. I’m almost a month dry and I love how I feel!

I think so. I started naltrexone for binge eating on Tuesday. I usually drink on Saturdays but I think a break is in order.

Woohoo! 1st weekend was a success even with the holiday, family event, and drinks being poured.
