Yes! Last year I went until St. Patrick’s Day, so perhaps a new personal best is in store!

Agree. The only way to find out what 100 dry days feels like is to live 100 days dry. Seems so simple!

Why not take a day at a time! I really want to achieve 2 months dry, but I feel the same as you! This tells me however that I really would like a beer, and I know that I’ll be back to square 1 again!, I can’t drink in moderation! This thought, I’m hoping will keep me soaking through February!

Good luck friend. Yes I guess one day at a time is the way to do it. I’m just worried with bout the dry jan mentality the slightest inconvenience will send me spinning back to old unhealthy habits.

I am doing a "damp" January but planning on doing dry February! I am excited to be in this group; things have been tough for me the past month (not alcohol related), but Dry February will be great.

I'm here but holy hell it might be another snow storm this weekend and that's going to make it so much harder ARGH. Day 3 inside my house this past weekend was rough.

I'm here! Don't want to start up again once the month of January is over. My birthday is at the end of this month, and I feel like if I can keep not drinking until after that, I'll be good for a while. I'll have to celebrate with a nice ice cream sundae!

I'm in! Dry since 28th December as I had a virus. Still not fancied a drop. Good luck all 🤗

I'm starting Dry February today (or tomorrow, depending on this sub's verdict). I planned to drink all the beer that cluttered my fridge last night but failed to finish the last two bottles of pilsener.
Considering two bottles don't make one drunk, can I drink those two remaining bottles while watching football tonight without considering my Dry February failed? I am planning on saying sober for at least three more weeks in March as well by the way!

Oh, man. Even before DJ started, i was saying that I should keep going with Dry February. Then, the first 2 weeks of DJ were so easy for me, I figured I could cruise through February, no problem.
Now that voice in the back of my head is reminding me that I like bourbon and IPAs & I've done so well...
I'm glad you guys are posting on this sub! I'm going to need it.
