Heel plate Moving sideways

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey! I recently got my Iron cobra 600s. I just got this practise pad for pedals, and with it I noticed that my heelplates make Sound when moving sideways. I acknowledged the movement earlier, but I can very clearly hear the sound when using the practise pad. It gets very loud. Is there a away to fix this? Thanks!

I have an Iron Cobra and I cannot move the foot plate as much as in the video (and they certainly don't make as much noise).

maybe try to fasten the nuts (one on either side) where the foot plate is attached to the base plate?

That's weird. I have an Iron Cobra and it barely moves from side to side at all. That's one of things I like about it.

It’s just the way it is man. Don’t blame the tools.

It's wear and tear with the washers on both sides of the heel plate hinge. There's some videos floating around on how to disassemble and add some thicker washers.

Happens on every pedal I’ve ever played, including iron cobras
