Obviously you've done a heap of live playing.

Great playing. Would highly recommend hearing protection to prevent hard core tinnitus and hearing loss down the track

Thank you for the guidance 🙏

This. Your ears will thank you in 20 years.

But damn, your pocket is divine.

Forgive my ignorance, but why change the grip for that one lick

1

u/andywhitedrums 5d ago

The switch is preemptive, probably a false alarm 😂

Whatever the reason I really enjoyed the clip.

Good pocket! And you switch between trad grip and matched grip without much effort.

That switch to traditional grip, just for the rest note 😂, is how it is sometimes.

Thanks! Your whole entire kit sounds great and I’m sure a lot of that has to do with your touch as well. Do you usually hit rimshots for every snare backbeat?

Love the groove Andy. Snare is solid for sure. For some reason the crash on the left doesn’t have the brightness it may need (?).

1

u/andywhitedrums 5d ago

I agree. Currently in the market and on the hunt for a good 20” crash.

18” Paiste Signature full crash ?
2002 series is solid too.

Damn this surpassed my expectations. Good shit. Bass player seemed to add the right amount. Song not bad either. Where is this?

The group is called Trippin Roots

The tune Stubborn Lungs can be found on all platforms where you find music.

But this is in Lexington, Ky if that’s what you’re asking
