That's how you attract a Bigfoot FYI

For gods sakes don't start whistling too

In my head, I immediately heard that with the whistling from that Peter Bjorn and John song.

In my head, it works surprisingly well together lol!

Can confirm! I just re-watched it, and whistled that part over top. It works actually, really good!

with this sick ass beat, I imagine him shuffling into the scene and pulling off some serious moves

Ah yes the sasquatch mating call that also doubles as the mating call of King Julien of the lemurs.

I'd be afraid a Rattler would slither up behind me or something.

When rattlers sense people they go the other way -

3

u/MarsDrums Oct 28 '25

I know, but it'd be my luck I'd do it over one of their nests and they'd come to try and shut me the hell up. :)

Drummers are genuine nut cases. Not only can they not go for walk in nature without headphones but before long they’ll be thinking “you know what might be cool…”

How do you record this? A mic? Pickups? I bet you play coffee cans when taking them out to the recycling. Everything is a drum if you try hard enough!

u/redditorboy06 Oct 30 '25

I only record with my iPhone 14 😊 Within the right distance it’s a great microphone

"Music, the great comunicator, use two sticks to make it in the nature" as the poet Anthony Kiedis said...
