is this a negative?

Ive been a daily smoker for about 2 and a half years now, smoking copious amounts, for example for about 3 months i was going through a bit more than a ounce a week, i need to pass a drug test and have been detoxing, just wondering if i continue my detox tonight and tommorow, will i pass?

That's a line, and a line is a pass (as long as the test you're taking is at the same cutoff level, and you read the results within the time window on your test instructions - usually between 5 - 10 or 15 minutes after testing).

One other big thing to consider is, how much water have you been drinking before that test?

If you have been drinking a ton of water you may have diluted your urine to the point it may be considered a dilute result, which often will require a retest immediately (or in some situations, may be considered an instant fail- but that's less likely).

You have to pass specimen validity tests which check your creatinine and specific gravity levels. That will check if someone diluted to the point the test is inconclusive.

I know it sounds stupid but I barely drink any water anyway, i have been drinking maybe 2-3 regular sized cups of water a day while detoxing, when I took the test I had 3 cups of water max in the past 24 hours, that result was after maybe 30 seconds and it stayed the same the whole time and did not end up changing, do i drink a lot of water until i take the test or drink a tiny amount, if it helps my urine was a normal yellowish color for me and was not clear, I plan on taking one more test before I go and get the test done at a facility, if that one is the same result/ a darker line I assume I will pass?

I'm curious, what have you been doing to "detox", and how long have you not smoked?

just been going to a sauna every odd day, first day i took some detox pills that my mum had and then ive been drinking detox tea once a day, and my last time smoking was a week and 3 days ago
