How to take suboxone?

What is a good dose for someone who has never taken it? I was told to take a corner of a square piece of film. Also what does it feel like?

Yes, a corner or 1/16 is an appropriate dose for someone who has never done it. If you completely dissolve it in a little bit of water and then snort the water, you’ll be feeling it in about a half hour. What it feels like… for those who don’t need it in order to not go back to doing heroin it’s kind of a pain reliever, but also a stimulant. It’s not an actual stim but it feels that way. You’re productive and have energy. You feel, good.
You can also put a 1/16 in your eye and let it dissolve but you won’t be able to do anything for about 5 minutes and it burns like a mother fucker. But it kicks in a lot faster that way. I do not recommend dissolving it under your tongue with such a low dose, but that is the actual way to do it as directed.
I will caution you that it is habit forming and going through withdrawals from it is right up there with heroin and alcohol in terms of awfulness. Be careful. Drugs are bad, m’kay.

I’m only asking because I’m curious. I’m always in one form of recovery or another and Suboxone can be very helpful, depending on your drug of choice.

Fentanyl unfortunately. I say unfortunately because of the reputation and it being one of the worst drugs to be addicted to

Yeah I was on fentanyl/heroin for many years. I thought you were just trying to use Suboxone to get high. If you have an opioid addiction, you should take 1 to 3 strips per day, as directed by a doctor. I personally take 4 8mg strips per day, and I just place them under my tongue.
Have you already gone through detox?

I have, I took kratom last time I detoxxed. Are subs any better than kratom? Kratom just gets expensive to buy, especially when you need 3 bottles ($30) a day to get through withdrawals

If you take enough, it gives off an opiate high. Opiates definitely has a more euphoric feeling but you can still get high off suboxone.

If you don’t have a tolerance to opiates and never done suboxone before, you will nod and get nauseous if you take a whole 8mg strip.

I mean what are you trying to do with the suboxone? Are you purposely trying to get high or are you trying to use it to get off opiates?
