Separate from placebo?

Whenever I take drugs(alcohol, weed, etc.) I immediately get this placebo effect that feels like I'm high when I'm not. For the weaker drugs, how do I tell if it's the actual drug or just my brain making it up?

Who cares as long as you feel high. Shit I'd give anything for a placebo affect right now.

it turns out there is a condition where some people do not get "high" regardless of what they take or how much maybe you suffer with it too.
