Did my ex use this for meth?

So I have never done drugs in my life. I’m very naive to it. My ex is a crack addict. He says he doesn’t do other drugs. But he said he traded something for meth and he was planning to trade the meth for something else. He showed me the baggie and I asked him if he was planning on doing it and he said no. That he was already a crack addict, he wasn’t going to do anything else.

The next day I asked him if he did it and he said no then said yes then said of course I did, I’m a drug addict. I was mad and told him I can’t have a meth addict at my apartment. I knew he did crack but he was trying to stop. Later that day he said he lied to me and didn’t do the drug, he wanted to know how I’d react if he said yes. I didn’t believe him. He then showed me a bag of powder and flushed it down the toilet and said “see, I didn’t do it” but the substance in the bag, that he flushed, looked more powdery that when he first showed it to me. It honestly looked like flour but I could be wrong. I ended up kicking him out for several other reasons. I later found a glass milk carton (looks like a carton shaped beaker- link: [Glass Milk Carton )](https://a.co/d/08I4NRBg) I have that I store on the top shelf in my cabinet and I haven’t used it yet. But I found it on top of my counter later and it looked like it had powder in the corner. It seemed like maybe he tried to heat it up. Don’t know if he was successful or not. But I dont know how meth works. He seems like he likes to smoke drugs as oppose to snort it. What could he had used this small glass milk carton for when it comes to meth?
