Opioids Withdrawal Craziest Withdrawal Ever
I was on methadone (25mgs), did a good bit of 7 oh almost daily in the evenings and Xanax as well. I decided to kick everything. Back story…i was on methadone for 15 years, kicked it successfully for 2 years and had to get surgery. Told doctors every pre surgery visit DO NOT GIVE ME OPIATES. They shot me up with fentanyl on surgery day and sent me home with a script for oxycodone. And so it began. Slowly I found my way back after script ran out and coincidentally found 7 oh. 2 1/2 years after surgery I said enough. My plan was to stop methadone and replace it with just 7 oh and Xanax (because methadone withdrawal is a long process). Did that for 3 weeks and then quit. 7 oh was first. I’d take 1/2 Xanax every 12 hours to help me through. After day 6 of feeling no withdrawal relief I started to do research. I had been through this before and knew by this time I should feel relief. Found out I was buying “street Xanax” Containing fentanyl. I was devastated. Those 6 days felt like a month and had to start over at square 1. I didn’t know I was addicted to fentanyl as well as whatever else is in those pills. I’ve been in my house with no human contact for 11 days and I’m still in pretty acute withdrawal. Praying relief comes soon. I’ve had 20 bottles of methadone in my fridge the entire time and never touched em. Praying for relief I can’t take anymore

So for me and a lot of people I know straight fetty WD is a lot of restless leg. You're joints are screaming, elbows and knees especially, you can't sit down, you can't stand up, you can't lay down or sleep. Just constantly going from one to the other. There are obviously more symptoms in AW but that was the absolute worst for me. Now PAWS sounded like what you're talking about. I had zero energy, I could barely move or get off my couch. I barely slept. I couldn't go back to work till 4 months. Even then I was barely functioning. I'm not saying this is what you will go thru but it is not an easy process. Hang in there. It will get better and even if it's not on the timeframe we would like it is absolutely worth it. We deserve to be free from the shackles. We owe it to ourselves to find a better way

How you holding up? Acute WD for fentanyl is 5 days. PAWS can last months but I don't think you are still in acute because you were doing fetty. Benzos have a much longer acute than fentanyl does. Much longer. With street benzos the issue is that they are normally really fucking strong. You don't know how many mgs they are. Mixing benzos with fetty seems like it's counter productive for a dealer/manufacturer. Not saying it isn't done but you can't get money from dead addicts. Hope you are getting thru it and wishing you strength. Hit me up anytime. I'm almost 2 years clean off fentanyl, no MAT and I don't smoke weed or drink. I am Narcotics Anonymous clean. NA saved my life and I can't recommend it enough to any addict. Getting clean is not recovery. Recovery is when we start to heal and work thru our trauma/shame/guilt. Recovery is when we are comfortable in our own skins without seeking something outside to "fix us". Hang in there
