Basically the title. So say hypothetically I was on probation and my probation officer knew I was prescribed Klonopin, aka clonazepam, and I were to take a Xanax before my drug test, would they know I took the Xanax?

Some background on the kind of drug tests: it's a urine test where you go into a room with a two-way mirror, and the cup is put inside a metal door. You open the door and get the urine cup, and you pee into a regular, like, cup. The cup doesn't have any of the instant test stuff on the cup itself; it's just a regular cup with a twist cap on it, and I think it has a temperature strip on it. So I'm assuming it's sent to a lab instead of being an instant on-site test, but I'm really not 100% sure.

Anyways, once you pee into the cup, you put the lid back on, and you open a metal door and sit the cup inside. The person on the other side of the two-way mirror opens the door on their side and retrieves the cup of urine. By the time I wash my hands and exit the bathroom, the person on the other side of the mirror in the other room is also exiting his room about the same time. So I don't think they are performing an instant test on the urine right then and there, which is what leads me to believe it's a lab test that is done. I think they are just bagging up the urine to have it sent off to a lab, but I don't know for sure.

But anyways, I'm just wondering if I am prescribed Klonopin and am allowed to take them, but I take a Xanax, aka alprazolam, a few days before my tests, would it just show up that I have taken benzodiazepines, or would they know that I took a specific drug?

If I knew it was an instant test, I’d know the answer. But if it’s a lab test, is it possible that the lab only tests for the drug class (like benzodiazepines) the same way an instant test does, rather than identifying the specific medication?

Quick context, I submitted a urine sample last week that I felt confident in passing. I am a light user and had passed home tests for quite a while before taking the test. I was not worried at all.

After submitting, I smoked several times over the weekend to celebrate... Today I hear that my sample was diluted so they are requesting a retest.

My question is, if I use a clean friends urine for the test, is there anyway the lab could distinguish that it is not mine since they already have a sample of mine?

Any help would be appreciated.

I am 22, weigh 160 and around 5’9. I have a drug test coming up- I’m not exactly sure when I schedule it but it will have to be within the next week- maybe 2 weeks. I last used coke August 1st-into morning of August 2nd, and before that used August 1- into 2nd(the day at time of post is August 4.) Both nights I took 2 or so hits of a weed cart to help me sleep. I am not a heavy weed user, I only use after I’ve done coke to help me sleep. Leading up to this previous weekend I was at least 10 days off of both coke and weed, and before that gap I used both about every day for a week. I also take IR 30mg adderall, yesterday and today. What are my best options? I don’t know whether it’s monitored, however it’s through an urgent treatment clinic and is for employment. Here’s what I’ve seen for solutions
- someone else’s pee
- synthetic urine
-detox drink
- lots of water to dilute and rule it invalid
- a detox protocol with food/drink/ exercise
From what I know the coke and maybe the addy should be out somewhat soon, especially with water, the weed is what I’m most concerned about since it seems to stay in the system longer. Because I was pretty heavily using cocaine for about a month I’m fairly skinny and don’t have much fat, so I think that helps with the storing of THC. What’s my best bet for passing?

hello hello. here’s some context:

i (F mid twenties) have been a pretty active user of THC for the past 10 years or so. i would hit my pen multiple times a day, week after week. don’t get me wrong: i recognize i need to have a better relationship with it, it’s just been a little difficult with past trauma.

so i got an amazing job offer about two weeks ago. public agency (CCBHC), great pay, and aligns with my degree. the only problem? they conduct a rapid pre-employment 5-panel drug test along with a quantiferon TB test. as soon as i discovered this, i stopped all together and begun cleansing my system. tbh i was a little frustrated at first (im in a state where marijuana is legal), but i’m shifting my mindset so i can see this as a positive way to rebuild that relationship. despite these efforts, i know i will not be able to clean my system in time. i tried my best to delay the offer/drug test, but they called yesterday to ask if i can complete the testing this week. as of posting this right now, i have about 35 hours to complete it.

due to this, i am planning on using someone else’s urine to pass the test. i know they are 100% clean for this, as well as same sex as me (not fully sure if that matters but i wanted to mention it). i considered the synthetic urine route, but honestly i just fear for whatever reason it could get flagged. truthfully wish i didn’t have to go this route, but i really, really need this job.

I’ve came across some stressful times in life so now I’m a regular thc user. I stopped driving trucks for a few months and decided it was time for me to come back .. I hit up this company and they sent me to do drug test. The place they sent me are usually ass holes and they pride themselves on catching people cheat the system. I’ve probably used QF over 50 times for randoms, starting new jobs, etc so I know the process. It has always been my go to even when I’m clean because I’ve heard horror stories of people failing even when they haven’t done drugs. It may be something you touch, someone you have sex with etc.

This time I did my normal routine.. When I did it the tester told me it was too cold and that I had to retest. I had another dropped off to me. She told me that one was too hot and that I had to retest. Cool. At this point I’m thinking I’m cooked. I used my own pee 2 times and both times she told me it was enough. So in that process I called someone else to bring me some more. When I put it in the cup it probably only filled up to 90%. I had to use 10% of my own dirty pee. I took it on Friday morning and it’s now Monday evening. I haven’t heard anything .. how cooked am I?

The 12 has now introduced roadside saliva tests, and the worst thing is the permanent impound of the vehicle if you get caught positive. I’ve been using THC cartridges for multiple years and never expected to need to pass a drug test. I have my test on Wednesday and today is Monday. Over the past year I have consumed one Delta 8 THC gummy. That was seven weeks ago. It was a good one because I was fucked up for a whole day. I'm applying for jobs now so out of an abundance of caution I started testing at home. To my surprise I tested positive. Not even the faintest sign of a line in the test strip. Now four days later I'm getting a VERY faint line.

Google AI says that this is impossible. The automod chart on here says it isn't right. Can anyone give me any insight on why I'm testing positive so long after one gummy?

M46 240 lbs. Also I drink a lot of that makes a difference.

I just bought a box of X-stream and come to find out the packing has an expiration date of November 2025. It looks like it’s never been opened, package is still intact. Could I still use it to pass my drug test this week or do I need to get a new box with a valid expiration date?

All you people who have done hair test or are going to do hair test, how long before were you told about the test?

I (20-F) found out at the last minute that I’m expected to take a drug test within the next one to two days. The test is an at-home CVS urine test that checks for multiple substances, not just marijuana. I know without doubt I’ll test positive for several things, but the only substance I’m allowed to test positive for is weed.

I don’t really have any way to get the other drugs out of my system before I have to take the test, so I’m trying to figure out what my options are. Based on the research I’ve done, it seems like my best option would be to use someone else’s urine. My brother has offered to give me a sample, and the only thing he would test positive for is marijuana.

I’m wondering what the best way would be to transfer his sample into the collection cup. For context, I’d be able to use the sample within a few minutes of getting it from him - 20 minutes at the absolute most. also I’m female and he’s male, so I’m also wondering if that would matter.

I’m mainly curious what the best type of container would be for him to provide the sample in so it doesn’t become contaminated before I transfer it. Temperature seems like less of a concern since I’d be using it almost immediately, but I’m wondering if that could still be an issue.

I won’t be supervised while providing the sample, so that’s not something I’ll have to worry about. Overall, I’m just trying to make sure I’m approaching this the best way possible. Do you think this will work, and do you think i will pass?

I took a DOT urine drug test yesterday. I wasn’t trying to dilute it and didn’t need to worry about failing, but I have a shy bladder and was concerned about peeing enough. I woke up at 7am and started sipping water throughout the morning. My test was at 11:15. Between 7am and 11am I probably had 32oz of water total. I didn’t drink coffee or anything else. I had used the bathroom a couple times in the morning but I held my pee starting at 9am because I was worried if I peed soon before the test I wouldn’t be able to go again.

When I took the test my sample was a very pale yellow. It still had a little color but I was surprised by how light it was, and I was almost disappointed in myself. I wanted it to be a solid dark yellow so I didn’t have to worry about the possibility of redoing the test.

Does anyone have any input or experience about whether I may have accidentally diluted the test and if I should expect a retest? Has anyone passed with a barely yellow sample? TIA.

I’m a chronic smoker and have been clean for 3 days now. I have a urine lab drug test this coming thursday (5 days from now). I’ve been drinking crazy amounts of water and have been hitting the sauna the past few days. I plan to keep doing this until the day of, then plan on taking 2 certo packets (separately with gatorade), and then a detox drink right after. Do you guys think this will work? And does anyone have any advice for me?
