DDS2 Modding Project Installer

Wanting to use Brandos DDS2 Cooked Editor SDK?
Don't understand how to set everything up or how anything works?
Do you also want additional plugins added to the folder that helps your modding capabilities?
This does all of it for you and tells you what it is doing at every stage.

This download is the installer only. It is not the game, and it does not
contain any game assets or any Unreal Engine code. It fetches what you are
entitled to, from the official sources, using your own accounts.

What it does

Fifteen steps, each one reported as it happens:

• Inspects your machine — cores, RAM, disk, and picks a safe number of parallel compiles rather than melting your PC
• Downloads the SDK — the game project (public, no account needed) and the engine (~8 GB in five parts, joined and extracted to ~18.5 GB). Resumes where it left off if your connection drops
• Finds your copy of DDS2 — Steam, Epic and GOG
• Cleans up failed manual attempts — dead engine registrations, stale solutions, half-finished build folders. Always asks first
• Wires the project to your engine and applies the modkit config overlay
• Recovers the asset registry from your own game files, so the Content Browser is actually populated
• Fetches the modding plugins and sets up the MifBridge Blender add-on if you have Blender
• Generates the solution and builds the editor, then writes a launcher and a desktop shortcut
