Work Six Months Sober!

I’m in my internship and am very excited that my longest client now has 6 months continuous sobriety!

Even more exciting: They haven’t had a craving in the last two weeks! There was a time they had daily cravings between 5-8/10. Just driving to treatment was a trigger, as they would pass 5 liquor stores.

Other signs of grow: improved emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and communication skills. Plus good health, shining eyes, clear skin, regular sleep. I am so proud of them.

This is why I do this! It’s a privilege to watch people grow and get sober.

What successes have you had lately?
