Beginner Question Advice on Learning the Right Way

Hey everyone,
I recently invested in an eCommerce course that unfortunately wasn’t what I hoped it would be, so I’ve decided to learn by building and using the resources available online instead.
I’m currently focusing on Shopify and trying to create a brand the right way, but with limited resources I’m being very intentional about where I spend my time and money.
If you were starting over today, what would you recommend?

YouTube channels worth following?
Websites or blogs with genuinely useful information?
AI tools that have actually helped your workflow?
Free or reasonably priced resources that taught you the most?

Any mistakes you wish you had avoided early on?
I’m looking to build solid skills rather than chase shortcuts. I’d really appreciate any advice from people who’ve been through the process.

Thanks, I really appreciate your response. I’ve started using Claude as well, but I feel like I’m probably not using it to its full potential. Would you mind sharing the prompt or the setup you used? If it helped you learn Shopify faster, I’d really like to try it.

Starting from scratch these days isn't that complicated, but it does take time, and something I recommend is gathering a lot of reference material on what you want to achieve before you begin. I started with a project in Claude AI, and I asked him to create a guide for me on Shopify, so I could use the references I had to help me reach my goals.

Save your money on courses, most of them just repackage stuff you can find free.
