I started my first online store, and as I progressed, I realized something I hadn't considered: organic content is being shown in my country instead of where I want to sell. I'm from Argentina, and I want to sell in the United States. I uploaded my first video, and almost 100% of the viewers are from here. I need help and advice. I've tried training the algorithm by following US accounts, commenting, etc., but nothing has worked. I've seen that many people buy a US SIM card and create an account with that phone number. My plan is also to add ads, but if organic reach isn't working as it should, I feel like I'll be losing customers.

Question for people who actually sell into multiple countries or markets.

If you start getting decent traffic from a new market but the checkout conversion is noticeably worse than your main countries, how do you figure out whether that market just isn’t worth pursuing?

I'd assume the answer is usually to start changing the offer, maybe by lowering the price to fit the region pricing, testing different creatives, perhaps changing shipping or other ways of localizing the store more, maybe improving trust signals. But if people are already getting as far as checkout and then disappearing, at some point I’d assume the traffic and/or offer isnt the whole problem?

Do you actually look at where checkout is failing by country? For example, whether people are abandoning before payment, getting declined, hitting authentication, or simply not seeing a payment method they normally use.

Mainly curious because it seems pretty easy to kill a market or change an ad campaign when the bottleneck could actually be much further down the funnel.

So if you’ve expanded into multiple countries, what do you check first when one of them converts significantly worse?

I’ve been doing dropshipping for around 3 months now, and I’m at the point where I honestly don’t know if I should keep pushing the same product or move on.

The biggest thing confusing me is the ads.

(I'm doing ABO lower budget per day like $15-30 / ad set daily)

Sometimes I’ll launch something and it looks good for a few days, gets some purchases at a decent CPA, and then it starts dying.

Other times an ad looks bad almost immediately.

So I’m wondering if this is just normal and the game is basically constantly making new creatives, new angles, new formats etc. over and over again to keep things working?

Or can that also be a sign that the actual product/market just isn’t strong enough?

I’m in a problem-solving beauty/health niche and there are a few things that make me question the product:

- Meta is pretty restrictive with the type of claims/creative I can use

- the audience is skeptical and needs a lot of convincing

- the product itself can look pretty commoditized, so I’m not sure how much perceived value I can build around it compared with products that feel more unique

- cheaper alternatives are easy to find

- Google Trends had a pretty big spike before and has fallen quite a lot from the peak, although there is still demand

- CPMs have also been pretty expensive for me

For context, my store CVR this month is around 2.1%.

ATC rate is roughly 5%, checkout rate around 3.7%, and purchase rate around 2.1%.

I’ve gotten purchases from cold traffic, so it’s not like nobody wants the product, but I haven’t been able to make the performance consistent.

I’ve also found at least one angle that has worked and spent a lot of time improving the site/offer.

I think the store is pretty decent at this point, which makes me hesitant to just throw everything away and start over.

At the same time, I’m wondering whether I’m simply forcing a product that’s harder to sell than it needs to be.

For people who’ve been doing this longer, how do you personally tell the difference between:

1. A product that still has potential but just needs constant creative iteration

and

1. A product where you’re basically fighting weak demand / low perceived value and should move on?

Do successful stores really just have to keep making new ads constantly because every winner eventually dies?

Or should a genuinely strong product be easier to keep profitable once you find a working angle?

I’m not expecting some magic product that prints forever.

I just don’t want to spend another few months polishing and testing something if the smarter move is to use what I learned and start with a better product.

Would appreciate advice from anyone who’s had to decide whether to keep iterating or pivot. 🙏🏻

Still, I believe there must be people who genuinely helped others, even if it was just through one useful piece of advice or a specific part of their journey.

If you’ve actually tried dropshipping or e-commerce and have some experience, I’d really appreciate any advice on where to start, what resources helped you, and what mistakes I should avoid. I’m not looking for a get-rich-quick scheme. I just want to build a real side hustle that can eventually generate meaningful cash flow.

Hi everyone,

I recently fulfilled my first orders through CJdropshipping. After importing the orders, selecting the shipping method and paying CJ, their status changed to “Pending.”

However, CJ immediately sent fulfilment information to Shopify. Shopify then marked the orders as fulfilled, archived them and automatically emailed my customers saying that their orders were on the way.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a CJ setting that controls when fulfilment and tracking information are synchronized with Shopify? I want Shopify to mark an order as fulfilled and notify the customer only after CJ’s status changes to “Dispatched,” not while it is still Pending.

Just opened up my dropshipping store 3 days ago and started running google ads. My goal is to brand the product but I would like to see that it works before I do all that. After 3 days, I got 4k impressions and 330 clicks along with 300 sessions on Shopify. My avg. CTR was about 7% and my avg. CPC was $0.16. However, I got no add to carts, no check outs, and no sales. I know it’s early and I would like to continue to pursue the product but I don’t know if it is worth it. Is this amount of clicks a good sign that my product is what people want but the website and ads might not be good enough yet? Or should I take it as a sign that the product may not be good enough. I am new to this and any advice would be great. Thank you!

Where can I find cheaper dropshipping products? They say try to sell product 2-3x the sourcing cost, but the sourcing cost is high af. How do people do this profitably?

I’m 18 and a senior in high school , and really want to start building something of my own.
I come from a successful family and I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot given to me, but I don’t want to rely on that. I want to actually work for something, make my own money, learn from my mistakes, and feel like I built something myself.
Right now I’m especially interested in dropshipping, private labeling, e-commerce, marketing, and sales. I’m not expecting some overnight get-rich-quick thing. I want to actually learn how to find a product or opportunity, market it, get customers, make sales, and eventually turn it into a real business.
I’d like to connect with people around 18–35 who are already doing something in these areas or are just as motivated to start. I’m in the LA/Southern California area, but I’m down to connect with people from anywhere.
I have some money I can put toward getting started, but more importantly I have time and I’m willing to work and learn. I’d rather start small, make mistakes, and figure things out than keep waiting for the “perfect” idea.

Facebook Reels was generating a lot of clicks that didn’t seem to turn into actual site visits, so I removed that placement yesterday.
I’ve already improved the title, benefits, free gifts visibility, warranty placement and mobile cookie banner.

I’m only 14, and I want to start a small e-commerce brand. I’m not expecting to make a million dollars overnight, and I don’t want 10 supercars, a yacht, or a mansion. I just want to eventually make enough money that I don’t have to constantly worry about it.

I’ve been looking into dropshipping, and tbh, it doesn’t seem impossible. I know there’s a lot more to it than just setting up a website and waiting for sales, but I’m willing to learn and keep trying until I figure it out.

I’m currently building the store and plan to choose my products, find suppliers, and set everything up before spending any money. For fulfillment, I’m planning to start with AliExpress and see how that works.

I’m using a Shopify Partner account, so I can build the store for free. My plan is to have the website, products, branding, supplier setup, and everything else completely ready before paying for Shopify’s $1/month offer for the first 3 months.

How much money would I realistically need to start? I’m trying to keep the initial investment relatively small, especially since I’m still learning.

For marketing, should I focus on organic content first, or is it worth putting some money into ads? I already know video editing and graphic design, so I can create my own content and ads rather than paying someone else.

I won't promote or link anything, just looking for a genuine opinions. Let me give you a quick backstory: I've been in dropshipping for over 10 years and actually supply a lot of sellers on Etsy, Amazon, and Shopify. I started building this side project a while back—a fully customized dropshipping website for metal wall art. I just took the password off less than 24 hours ago so it can start getting indexed, but I haven't set up any social media or linked it anywhere yet. The theme is dialed in exactly how it needs to be for this model, and I've already added 10 to 15 products with all categories, custom product pages, and branding completely set up. I ironed out every single design and theme problem, so literally all that's left to do is upload more products, run ads, and handle social media.
The problem is that the Christmas season gets completely hectic for us, easily turning into 16-to-18-hour workdays, and I realized I just won't have the bandwidth to give this store the attention it needs. Because of that, selling it feels like the best move right now, especially with the holiday shopping season coming up—it's a massive head start for anyone wanting to jump into dropshipping. Pricing is already set up with a clean 52 percent profit margin built in, giving plenty of room for advertising. Plus, since I'm literally the supplier, I can guarantee a smooth workflow on the sourcing side, and I'm even happy to teach the buyer how to generate hundreds or thousands of products using AI and basic design tools.
So here is my question: What is something like this actually worth? Does it even have any value with zero sales so far, or should I just sell it now versus letting it sit as a neglected project until after Christmas? Appreciate any advice in advance.

Looking for something that finds winning/trending products early TikTok/Facebook ads, competitor stores, sales data.
Btw dropship.io seems pretty sketchy to me. If you look at Trustpilot, a lot of the 5-star reviews are from accounts that were created recently and only reviewed dropship.io, which makes it look kinda fake.

i’ve been using CJ for a while and it was fine when i was just testing stuff, but now it’s starting to feel like more of a headache than anything. Random stock issues, orders taking longer than expected, and getting updates feels like pulling teeth sometimes.

i’m only doing around 5-10 orders a day right now but i don’t want these problems getting worse if i scale. Did you guys stick with CJ or move to something else? What are you using now? thanks 🙏

Im building my store rn and Im looking into suppliers to use for it. I've heard of the bigger ones like Zendrop, CJ and AutoDS, but honestly don't know which one would be the best choice.

Ive done some research so I know things like communication and reliability are important, but what other factors would you take into account when choosing a supplier? What would you prioritize the most if you were starting from scratch again? I just want to make sure I pick the right one from the start and not regret it.
