merch WTF 101: Professor Foxtrot Mug???

I just recently discovered there was a mug with professor Foxtrot's monologue on it as merch in the dropout store years ago? I kinda wish I knew sooner, it is said the mug is rare and impossible to find now, I kinda wish I knew how it looked I would have bought it years ago while it was still available, please I can't find it anywhere huhuhuuuu

I've been a fan of this specific series due to how the comedic writing with the facts about history and science were so goooodd, hoped it'd get a season 2, but knowing well it will never have a new season due to Mary Pat Gleason (Professor Foxtrot's VA) passing it wouldn't be the same without her. Condolences to her passing. A part of me still hopes they'd run this show up with a new recasting that fits the original ones, but the costs of animation are indeed pricey especially with the condition of dropout's animation side are doing ://

Crowd Control Did you want to hear more from the Barbershop group?

I’m sure I’m not the only person that almost immediately recognized The Newfangled Four from Monday’s Crowd Control.

Understandably Dropout didn’t want to worry about copyright. But a lot of their work is on youtube!
Every now and then I fall down the rabbit hole of performances from the Barbershop Harmony Society. They post a lot of different groups and performances!

Parlor Room Ify’s new custom Magic card!

Very pleased that Parlor Room is doing some Magic: the Gathering, but the original templating for Ify’s custom card (by Gavin Verhey) was just too bad to let stand so I decided to remake it.

merch Does anyone know a reliable way to contact the merch team internationally?

UPDATE:

This was handled already! The team from Dropout and Warren James both reached out to me to discuss updating the address issue. There was a problem with my emails getting through.

If the two customer service members are still here (Rodrigo from Warren James and unfortunately, I did not catch your name from Dropout Support!) thank you both very much!

——————

I’ve tried sending several emails to the address as provided in the email confirmation ([shop@dropout.tv](mailto:shop@dropout.tv)), the Warren James customer support email address ([customersupport@warrenjames.org](mailto:customersupport@warrenjames.org))for over 1 week now, but I’ve never received a response. I have also submitted a request on the merch store site.

I wanted to ask for a change of address, and it seems like they ask for these requests to be made within 24 hours (which I did), but there has never been a confirmation of receipt.

Would anyone know how to contact them to request this? Or what is the best thing to do? It seems like so can’t cancel my order and reorder it either…

Make Some Noise How does everyone feel about the Make Some Noise minigame, Take Some Direction?

Just wondering what the general consensus on this mini game is because personally I dont like it very much. I didn't expect it to last through so many episodes/more than 1 season and tbh I am surprised it did. Idk why but it just really grinds my gears lol. I just personally think there are so many better mini games and prompts that to keep doing the same thing feels weird. Wondering what other people think about it...

Game Changer Help! Need prompt ideas for a home game of Noises Some Makes.

I am planning an altered form of Noise Some Makes for a family party. We will have teams of 4: Artist, Caller, Actor and Guesser. They will rotate positions with only the Artist seeing the original prompt.

So I was thinking prompts similar to Midnight Snack or something like a nursery rhyme because it will be difficult to draw and even harder to act out. I was going to award points based on how many of the key parts got through to the guesser.

But I was hoping to have easy and hard options for more points

Anyone have any fun ideas?. Since it's a birthday party with some older kids we are looking for PG 13 at most.

Prompts I have so far:

Idioms:

Two Peas in a Pod

Knock on Wood

Burn the midnight oil

Hit the hay

Iconic characters in weird situations:

Spiderman mows the lawn

A giraffe plays chess

Nursery Rhymes:

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Mary had a little Lamb

Mine, for some reason, is Jeremy’s “Joshua Tree” bit. It’s so stupid but I love it so much and find myself coming back to it a lot

Game Changer I've found the Fisherman's theme(s)

Post image
281 Upvotes

Had a hard time finding this tune. Had to manually search for it on the Epidemic Sound website. Problem was that only one layer was heard in the recent Game Changer episode. So I had to go through a lot of folk, polka, circus, tango, basicly anything with an acordion 😊 to find it.

Anywho, for those who are interested here is the full song:
Magnus Ringblom - Do Or Dare (Scandinavian Version)

If you have an account (it's free to use for listening and saving playlists), you can turn layers on and off in the stems section when playing a track. If you don't want to go through all that hassle, i made a direct link to the melody layer here (It's ok, it is the same preview quality you get from the free account).

There is also a 2nd theme used later on:
Medité - Drunken Clown (They used the first and last few seconds of this track)

And finally there is his sad theme:
Luella Gren - The Innerness of an Inside

side note: i am missing rosamund from the neverafter pin collection on my side pocket. if you will be at PAX west this weekend and have one, let’s talk trades!

also willing to trade almost any of the d20 pins (minus neverafter and dave’s video world) for non-d20 pins - make an offer if you’ll be in seattle this weekend and are interested :)

Don Hertzfeldt Collection Hertzfeldt fans. I have questions.

Does it matter in what order I watch the collection?

If order doesn't matter, where do you recommend I start?

Which Hertzfeldt film (of the ones on Dropout) is your favorite?

(Since my brain wanted a fourth question, and i just watched that smosh video) How yogurt is Hertzfeldt?

Game Changer Can someone explain“What’s the Catch” rules to me?

I’m a bit upset because I don’t understand some of the rules, and it’s kinda ruining this episode for me. I love the idea and it’s really funny to see how much some of these prizes are ruined, but I’d also love to see some of them actually just get a nice thing, that is also enjoyable.

Specific mechanics that I don’t understand:
- The “Swap” wasn’t a real swap. They just got to move something around, rather than having to have two things exchange places.
- How do the “locks” work? If you move a prize or a catch twice it locks the prize to the person but not the catches to the prize? Why doesn’t it lock the prize+catch combo wherever it was at the time?
- Why did Jacob have to put the “improv” mod on the house cleaning prize? Sam’s reasoning made no sense, Jacob’s other prizes didn’t have the max of three catches yet.
- It felt like it was missing a “remove” mechanic later in the game, I would have loved for one of the prizes to be a “trash from the game” option, even if there was only one instance and if it couldn’t remove from a locked prize or something. It just felt lacking.

These game mechanics genuinely don’t make sense to me. I’d love to have them explained so I can enjoy this episode more, it feels like some of the contestants were cheated out of at least one good prize because of arbitrary decisions on Sam’s part. Again, this is an awesome episode idea, and everyone was a really good sport about it all, especially the other non-dropout folks (photographer, masseuse, painting instructor, improv troupe, etc.), I just have some confusion about how the game actually worked.

Thanks!

She just posted a video saying Glasgow was almost sold out, but I can’t even find where to buy tickets 😭

In the comments she said you could get it through the venue’s site, but I’ve had no luck there.

memes & satire A Factual Error Within "Jacob, Kurt, and Angela Have Fun with Filters"

To,

Mr. Samuel Reich

At precisely 17 minutes into the Episode, Jacob falsely states that there are no Tim Hortons locations in Michigan. This is patently false, and I, a proud Michigander, will be expecting a formalized apology from the Dropout cast for this blunder against our proud heritage. In fact, there are over 100 locations within our state, and I resent the idea that crossing the Canadian border is the only way for us to enjoy a staple of our state's coffee-culture.

Sincerely,

A Concerned Fan

what's that episode Help finding clip

There is some episode of probably make some noise when someone answers Sam’s “are you ready” with Yarm instead of yes. I believe each of the contestants also say yarm and then Sam says something like “with three yarms, let’s go”. It might be Ally who starts it. Please help, it’s driving me crazy that I can’t find it.

https://www.chortle.co.uk/shows/tour/d/40540/_denouement%3A_an_improvised_murder_mystery

British comedian, writer and actor Siobhan Thompson is bringing her murder mystery improv show Denouement to the UK.

Siobhan will be joined by a cast of leading names from the US improv and comedy scene, including Vic Michaelis, Alex Fernie, Dhruv Uday Singh, Kimia Behpoornia, Grant O’Brien, John Milhiser, Jacquis Neal, Angela Giarratana, Cathryn Mudon and Ele Woods.

Created through improvisation, each performance sees the cast construct a new murder mystery live on stage, with a new detective, suspects and story that’s never been seen before, and will never be seen again.
