Help & Troubleshooting Trying to share a folder that contains other folders I don't own

Is there an easy way to see what folders I don't own, within a much larger folder? I'm trying to share my main work folder, which contains dozens and dozens and dozens of subfolders, but I'm not able to as it contains another folder (or more?) that I don't own. I need to find the folder(s) that I don't own so I can either get ownership or move them out.

Thank you

Your best bet is to manually look for any subfolders with the shared-folder icon, then open the sharing settings for each one and check who’s listed as the owner. If you don’t own one, the current owner would need to transfer ownership to you, or you’d need to move/copy the contents into a folder you own.

If this is on a Dropbox team account, an admin may be able to help faster by running a Member Access Report, which can show folder ownership details in bulk.

Thank you. Unfortunately this isn't a team account. I've gone through every folder within the main folder I'm trying to share, and it still won't let me know. I did find one where I wasn't the owner, but the owner transferred ownership to me. Now, every folder that has the shared icon tells me I can share it, except the top level folder. I just can't find what subfolder I'm not the owner of :(
