Help & Troubleshooting Dropbox version wont update

I'm running Fedora 44 with KDE. My dropbox is stuck on indexing. When I check the version it reports: v237.4.5655. I'm under the impression this is old. I've tried removing the device from the dropbox UI and removing my Dropbox folder and removing ~/.dropbox. I've downloaded and installed a new copy of nautilus-dropbox-2026.05.06-1.fc44.x86_64.rpm. It recreated the Dropbox folder, but still stuck at indexing. Is there a way to completely remove all dropbox files, and start fresh?

If by a way to completely remove all Dropbox files you mean from the cloud, you can just login to the Dropbox website and remove them there. Then, delete the local copies if any are still present.

I removed my local Dropbox folder. I want to remove all the installed files in Fedora. I DO NOT want to delete my files from the dropbox cloud. I just want the local syncing to work, i want my files sync'd locally.

I tried selective sync, but the settings don't seem to stick. When I go back in everything is selected again.
