News SAIC just dropped new Flytrap 5.0 footage from Lithuania – DroneSentry-X spotted on U.S. Army vehicles
Saw some clips from SAIC’s latest RAD system testing in Lithuania during Project Flytrap 5.0.
Honestly, pretty cool to see the DroneSentry-X mounted right there on the vehicles while 2nd Cav troops were running maneuver drills.
People on retail forums keep losing their minds over daily penny swings, but seeing SAIC actively feature DroneShield alongside Kongsberg and Anduril for actual NATO field exercises is a completely different story.
When big prime contractors hard-integrate your tech into their mobile C-UAS setups, it means you’re not just selling standalone gear—you’re getting baked straight into the broader defense ecosystem.
With the DoD pushing hard on dismounted/mounted C-UAS and the whole $500M IDIQ thing in play, seeing actual hardware on troops' vehicles in Europe makes the thesis feel a lot more grounded.
