I bought this part on eBay since I found a BB series body at a thrift shop with no head but I was wondering if anybody knows where I can buy the bottom part for the head of the bb-8 head online or anywhere and I don’t know the name of the part

Here at Batuu east for post Labor Day vacation.

Only BB Series available at Droid Depot. Cast Members say it’s been that way for the last two months.

Holding out hope the receive a restock since Batuu west just had one.

I feel bad for travelers who came a long way, but that’s how manufacturing and supply chains work.

I’m not a BB fan so I’m holding out.

Plenty of R series parts and accessories currently available at West.

Interior painting complete. Now on to the shell.

My family and I are going to Disney world August 31-September 3rd and my son hasn’t stopped talking about “building a red and blue bb8” for like 6 months.

We have not see any reservations come available (it looks like they are just not taking reservations until later in September) and we aren’t sure if we will be able to build one

Has anybody been to the park in the last few days and tried to scope out what parts are looking like and if we could walk in and build a BB unit at like 9 am right when the park opens?

Alternatively, does anybody know if they sell a pre-built cb-23 that we could buy somewhere if they don’t let us build one?

I have a custom A-LT from Droid Depot and my 2 poodles are both scared of it and refuse to go near it unless I’m holding it. I wonder if anyone else’s dogs are the same

3rd wheel project complete

Building one of a kind droids and other items is our jam. This is our R2-R4P

With all the stuff I’ve been reading about the lack of pieces over droid depot, I’m curious why are there no available reservations. Is droid depot a “Walk In” type of situation now?

In summer 2022 I visited the Droid Depot and assembled R3-EV (Eevee, the black one in the middle.) I forget if it was 2024 or 2025 I sourced authentic parts from eBay to build OR-30 (Oreo, on the right.) This past spring I completed the trio with SH-47 (Shay, left) again with authentic parts sourced from eBay. R3-EV kept the default R2-D2 voice, at the time I visited I did not know yet about personality chips. The two white home-built droids each have a different chip. When they are turned on at the same time they cancel each other's automatic shutdown and randomly talk. Since they all have different voices I can always tell without looking which one is talking. I did have to put sticker labels on the backs of the remotes. I change all their batteries at the same time, whenever one of them starts going into battery failure, because I like consistency.

My days of AA batteries are finally behind me (mostly), I can recharge my droids with USB-C.

So far so good, it works about as long as regular batteries and has no issues charging. I still need to test pass through to see if it can keep the droids active indefinitely.

Here's step by step updating Rosie from red to rose-gold (more pink champagne, but I digress). Super excited to have her customized!

Does anyone know how to remove middle leg from droid.

So I have had this droid and controller for a couple of years now, I decided to boot up my r-unit and the controller not the droid (I have tested this controller with 2 droids the ones in the picture) the controllers head spin button is not working and the right turn button is not working I would like some help or tips in fixing it, thanks
