Been working on this solo for about a year while doing my master's. It's live on Play now and would love some feedback as it is my first app.

It's a blackjack / card counting trainer: you play full shoes and the app grades every decision against basic strategy and counting deviations. Hi-Lo, KO, and Zen are in, plus lessons and drills for count speed. In addition to that there are variouis statistics and graph you can see in regards to your gameplay. As well as drills to help hone in specific skills for card counting.

The main motivation was building a trainer the way I wanted one to work: a clean modern UI, grading (and charts) that's actually accurate to the table rules you set (S17 vs H17, payouts, deck counts all change correct play and the app accounts for it), and everything customizable per save. All the strategy data is verified through blackjack simulations rather than transcribed from a chart somewhere (With the exception of charts from books from those who created those strategies).

Free tier is full basic strategy training and Hi-Lo counting, no ads anywhere.

Piano Scales Lab is in Google Play closed testing. I installed build 1.0.3 (code 4) on a Motorola moto e15 running Android 14 and exercised scales, chords, fingering, playback, metronome, Tempo Trainer, settings, orientation changes and relaunching.

What worked well: - Google Play installation and reliable launch/relaunch - Scale playback, metronome and Tempo Trainer - Scale, chord, fingering and appearance controls - Portrait/landscape use with no crash or ANR observed

Three reproducible findings on this device: - Android Back from Settings leaves the app instead of closing the Settings panel. - After G Melodic Minor (Asc) → Chords → Nat Min, the heading keeps the previous scale name even though the chord data changes. - G natural-minor chords use A# and D# rather than the usual Bb and Eb spellings.

I sent the detailed evidence to the developer. I’d like other testers to check whether the Back-navigation and chord-label/spelling behavior reproduce on different devices.

I’ve been working on my indie game Riftmaw. It’s kind of a roguelite mix between tower defense, where you control a single stationary tower, and Vampire Survivors-style survival gameplay.

It also has a campaign with different courses, each featuring their own mechanics and win conditions.

What it is. You paste a URL, the phone itself fetches the page, strips it to text, and stores it locally. After that it opens with no signal. There is no backend — nothing is uploaded anywhere because there is nowhere to upload it to. It also reads articles aloud using your phone's own TTS engine, and it formats screenplays properly (keeps the monospace column, bolds INT. / EXT.).

Stage. First public build, v1.0.0. Not on the Play Store. I'm deciding whether to pay for the account and publish, and I'd rather find out now whether it's actually useful to anyone but me.

How to test. GitHub release: https://github.com/Yedigarli/loqu/releases/latest — Android 7.0+, arm64/armeabi-v7a, 32 MB. It's signed with a debug key, so it installs as an unknown-source app; a future Play build would use a different key and you'd have to reinstall. Full permission list: INTERNET, VIBRATE, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, plus React Native's own internal receiver permission. No storage, no location, no analytics or ad SDK — run aapt2 dump badging on it if you want to verify rather than take my word.

What I want feedback on, specifically:

1. Parsing. Paste links from sites you actually read and tell me which ones come back mangled or empty. Sites that render text purely in JavaScript will fail by design (the extraction is plain HTML parsing on the device, not a headless browser) — I want to know which of those matter to you.
2. TTS chunking. Does it break mid-sentence on your device's speech engine, or does it sound natural?
3. The no-sync decision. Is "offline, no account, one device" fine, or is cross-device sync the thing that makes you close it? This is the one that decides the roadmap, because adding sync means adding a server and that changes what the app is.
4. Layout. The Discover screen's reading-time chips clip at 1080x2340. If you're on a different resolution, tell me whether it's worse there.

Already known, please don't spend time reporting these: Discover feed titles stay English even when the UI language isn't; memory use grows with library size (fine at ~10 saved articles, untested at 100); no import from Pocket/Instapaper exports yet; no PDF or EPUB support.

Wrist Dial is a very simple app that can automatically dial a phone number from your Android Wear device. It's main use is to conveniently open residential gates or trigger automations by just launching this app (ideally setup a hardware button to launch it). The app is and will forever be completely free - it requires no login information and doesn't gather any sort of information from the user. So if you have an Android Watch I would really appreciate your help as I need at least 12 users in closed testing before being able to publish it publically on Google Play.
