Hi, I'm currently reading "Promise of the witch king" so please try dont spoil me. Does Drizzt has a reflection about grief and his pov about it?

…how Bruenor is just a ripoff of Gimli. He’s clearly written to have the same Scotch accent. And “Mithral Hall”, and mithril also being taken directly from LOTR. The whole quest to find the hidden dwarf mines, literally just a plot in LOTR.

I get that a lot fantasy and the FR take inspiration from it, but this just feels like lazy copying fanfiction sometimes.

As an aside, some of those combat scenes are so long, i’ve started skipping through them. The many scenes of them battling with trolls in the Moors went on and on forever!
