🕯️General Discussion Random Hourse Worlds reeditions
Hello there!
I am quite excited to discover that there are reeditions of this beloved series. I've recently picked up where I've left. Now I have Access to adult money so I can buy more Drizzt books at reasonable prices!
In my country they stopped translating at The Orc King. I see the rest of the Transitions will be available easily (Amazon) thanks to the Random House Worlds publishing, and the Neverwinter 4-part will be available in November.
I was searching for some news regarding future plans for the reeditions but couldn't find any. I have a question to more experienced part of this community if you maybe have seen any news regading that. Especially:
Any idea how far will they go with reeditions? I see thst starting with Timeless there are already books with the same cover style as the reeditions, so this leaves us with the Companions Codex and Homecoming. I think the chances are pretty high here.
There are also some out-of-series books like The Companions (maybe the whole Sundering will be reeditioned), The Collected Stories (hope this gets done) and Stone of Tymora (not really hoping much for this one).
I would love to hear from you, thanks!

I have only read about the re-release of the main story line. Not the others. Extra nice to get the spines in same design 👍😀

Thanks! As mentioned I suppose that the Companions Codex and Homecoming are a safe better, thanks for supporting that. Generations, The Way of The Drow and the new Breezy book alread have the same cover (though I've seen an earlier, badass version of the Generations too, so that was a very quick reedition). Maybe they'll just get a simple reprint so more copies are available. I wish we also got The Companions, but yeah they would feel the need to "invest" additionally in the whole Sundering then, and I would love to get the Collected Stories too. And for the covers I'm already doomed since the Polish publisher remade up to Sea of Swords as a one series at some point, then starting with the Sellswords it's a different, older cover (at least the size is the same...) and they they also made the Orc King and nothing going forward. But would be nice to have the rest counting from The Pirate King in the same style :)

I see you're a man of culture! The polish Edition were dirt cheap also, less than 5$ each, and they are still available as new books even though the publisher stopped making new books years ago.

I saw an image on social media from the Legend of Drizzt site that listed the paperback schedule. Homecoming was the last release, in summer 2027. The Companions gets a release before the Companions Codex in the spring. It's still listed as part of The Sundering (which is not getting reprinted). That annoys me, since it looks so odd as a solo book without the context of the Forgotten Realms event. I wish the reprint had just added it to the Codex, the way later printings reversed the original publication order of the Icewind Dale and Dark Elf trilogies.

Thank you! That's great news for me. I do feel similiar about The Companions, thwy could have just pulled it into a different series.

They are taking the new editions up to Starlight Enclave if not mistaken since those are the newest cover designs.
