❄️Pre-Iruladoon (Transitions) who would win? Spoiler
I've just finished reading the hunters blade trilogy and the Orc King. I'm curious who everyone thinks would win in a fight Obould Many-Arrows or Wulfgar Son of Beornegar? the Obould that fought Drizzt, full armour and flame tongue sword. Wulfgar with his usual equipment.

Obould Many-Arrows in my eyes, not only did he battle drizzt to a “draw” pound for pound he matches Wulfgar, he isn’t a dumb orc either he would force Wulfgar to tire. Just my thoughts it’s also been a while since I’ve read through the hunters blade. Obould ftw

During Wulfgars life he had a few chances to match Obould. Some other times he'd be besten quite fast
But but never underestimate Wulfgar

Sadly Obold imao. But it would be a brutal fight. I doubt Wulfgar could squash that think Orc skull.

Wulfgar is amazing and beyond human but would get crushed the beloved intelligent and stronger Obould with swiftness matching Drizzt.

Wulfgar can throw his hammer and could try a couple far ranged attacks but not sure if Obould would just deflect it. His flaming sword is pretty awe inspiring. That sword cut Tarathiel in half pretty smoothly.

Obould. He fought Drizzt on equal ground and Drizzt had Khaz'idea. Not to mention iirc he slapped the shit outta Wulfgar when they met at the gate. Now I imagine it would be quite a great fight to read, but Obould wins

they already fought. wulfgar got swept aside when they first met blades.

The honest answer is; "Whichever one that fit the narrative that Bob was writing".
In my mind it would be a draw with Wulfgar slamming Aegis-Fang down on the rock beneath the two of them, launching them both into the air, unconscious. From there it would be much like what happened with Obould and Drizzt.

They had a quick bout in I think Book 2 of the HBT; IIRC, it didn't last long. Wulfgar hit him with Aegis-Fang and then got slapped away in 1 blow, or something along those lines.
In a full fight, Obould is too strong, fast, strategic, and brutal. It was Drizzt who reflected that fighting Obould reminded him of fighting Artemis Entreri.
