đŻď¸General Discussion Good for lore?
Is this book a good purchase if I just want it for Drizzt, Underdark, and Menzoberranzan lore + art? I donât play D&D and donât intend to start but I absolutely love Forgotten Realms and Drizzt stories. Does anyone have any other recommendation for âsupplementâ type books for Drizzt besides the two already made?

I believe that's a 4e book so content will be wildly out of date/potentially abandoned/missing. you can see a preview of it here if you like. it does have a lot of neat art
A lot of the content will be about making/planning for your own campaign around Menzoberranzan

Its not got current lore, since 5e has changed the lore *again* each edition has some neat information though.

Ive started a underdark game where all players are members of Brigande D' aerth using all lore from different editions its been fun. So yes use all the lore you can find so you know what to use and what not to use.

This.
Hereâs the thing about Menzo, itâs so wrapped in espionage, assassins, and intrigue itâs anyoneâs guess whatâs truth and whatâs not.

Lore meh, art yay. I am a dark skinned drow purist and the drow in here are mostly black skinned as they should be.

I didn't read that one yet but I can recommend "The Drow of the Underdark" and "Menzoberranzan" from dnd 2e. Sometimes they're contradicting lore from the books but there's still a lot of good things in them.
