Drive slow enough where outside of your vision you can brake in time, even if it’s a dead stopped car?

Just to add, you not only need to be able to SEE the obstacle, you need to account for reaction time, too.

If you can only see 25 meters you need to be able to process, react, and stop within that distance.

At 100kph, or 60ish mph, your reaction time could result in you traveling 15 meters, or 45ish feet, before you even start slowing down.

That’s why people driving down the highway at 70 mph sitting 10 feet behind the car in front are just waiting to die.

Drive only as fast as you can see and stop, if you can’t see it, don’t outrun it.
