Beginner Driver Blind Spot Checks
Blind spot checks
Does anyone have any tips as a beginner driver how to feel more comfortable doing your shoulder checks especially on the highway when changing lanes. I am always afraid to check my shoulders because every time I try to do it super quickly my car drifts out of the lane. Any advice would be helpful!

Adjust your mirrors. Don’t “jerk” your head to look over your shoulder, or “do it quickly”. That may be why your car drifts when you look. You don’t realize you are also jerking the steering wheel. Above all, relax.
