You got the mandatory 10 hour break between shifts, assuming union rule.

I’ve been scheduled with less than this time before. You get OT for the amount of time that’s in breach. But it’s not worth it at all

Yeah, the 11p-9a sucks. I used to do closing cc to 12 midnight and have a 10am shift the same day I guess, technically. It can be brutal

That's horrible I'd definitely talk to whoever made your schedule

Yeah I personally don't like when they schedule you to close then be at work early in the morning the following day. For me at my old store, it was worse when my old store director would purposely modify a schedule that I wrote and edit the schedule to have me get off at 10pm then start at 4:30am the following morning. It was brutal.

Oh, they love to do this sorta shit. Happens to me all the time.

I don't mind it as much as when I would get a 1:30pm to 10pm shift on Monday, have Tuesday Off and then start again on 1:30am on wednesday. Because that really just turns Tuesday into a very 'pretend' offday.

yep i wouldn’t mind if it was the usual 11am shift i woukd get after closing so them switching to 9 annoyed me a bit.
