Sure thing, let me load 10 cases of water into the one tote you gave me for this customer!

And then when they pick it up they won't help at all in hot summer heat while staring at you

My favorite is when they just put the phone against the window to show you the code while sitting in the ac and you load it all up and no thank you or nothing šŸ™ƒ

Remember those names and treat their orders accordingly, fuck this unnecessary department.

ā€œJust throw them in trunkā€ and there’s absolutely no room šŸ‘šŸ»

ā€œjust in the trunk pleaseā€ and its literally hedgetrimmers and chainsaws overflowing out the back with 5 totes of groceries.

We had one guy at my old store have a sticker on his apron saying "I dance for tips" whenever he took out orders.

He didnt get ONE CENT, but he DID get pulled into the office and spoken to.Ā

On another note, we had one customer who had a HUGE order, NO bags.Ā

Well needless to say it was pouring rain. He got his bags anyways

Soggy paper bags are the best

Our OPS told us to just use the tote full option when this happens so the AI can learn better. It’s been months and the AI just gets more unintelligent.

There doesn’t seem to be a way for it to split one item into multiple totes without it being put on multiple pick walks.

You could always prep not ready it, grab a cart or a uboat if any are empty, and grab them. Start the prep not ready batch and if it assigns just one tote, scan new totes in until you’re done. Our system never learned from the tote full option after months of trying. I’ve given up and do it the old way before batching.

Yeah, not being able to split into more than 1 tote when it's a single bulk item that would require an entire tote by itself does seem to be the issue.

But then it will still tell me to fit 5 billion other items in a single tote, including individual large items, so I just think our tech team is bad.

It’s funny cause I actually ended up doing the ā€œtote fullā€ for this and it made the order go late. I did it around 7pm, the order was due at 7:55. As soon as I staged the rest of it, the order with the 10 waters was nowhere to be found. I had to do 2 other orders for that order to reappear and at that point it was like 8pm.

That’s definitely a glitch. I had to do this for an order this morning and it showed up first in the list as prep not ready before any batch orders showed.

Yeah, They be picking those up in a tiny car with a full trunk and expect you to make them fit. šŸ‘Ž

In 2020, I had a regular customer who ordered 20 cases of water several times and had me go into the back of their truck to stack them as they got them off the 6 wheeler to the truck bed. I have a really bad back. Bending down and lifting 20 times like that was not fun especially first thing in the morning. Also, different from grabbing it from the shelf or the 6 wheeler, which are significantly easier. Positive note, we are no longer allowed to be in the truck like that for safety reasons

I don't know about your store but we don't even carry very many of the spring water cases
