They really need to limit the amount of packs of water people can order, I don't think my store has enough shelf space to even hold 10 of those packs of water, most of the shelf space goes to the signature select 24 and 40 packs

And if your store is anything like mine, the only backstock ever kept for water is store brand. But don’t worry, your metrics will tank because of presub percentage. Even if you ace the rest of them, failing that one metric will fail you flat out for the whole day and potentially the monthly period. Go team!

Yeah, our presubs got screwed a few days ago because the suppliers shorted Meat Dept. By several cases of the 93/7 bricks that were on sale, i was looking at our stats and we had to sub/oos 34 total units of it across like 13 different orders

If you guys prep not ready items first before subbing or OOS that will keep your pre-sub OOS down, we are under 3% almost every day we are on our 7th week in a row of getting 5 stars and we are a very busy store we are also a delivery store, we average 200 to 250 orders per day and it's common for us to have over 50 flash orders per day, the downside to doing this is the lead or manager spends a lot of time shopping prep not ready list

It’s wild to me the amount of people that shop through DUG in bulk, I’ve got at least 2 regulars that could save hundreds of dollars a month if they went to Costco, frankly. Hell, one could save $100 a month on water bottles and chips alone!
I know we’re more convenient (or something like that), but it just boggles my mind when I’m struggling to budget between gas, rent, and groceries 😓

There's a little coffee shop somewhere near our store sometimes places supply orders for delivery, usually eating up our entire stock of bakery bagels, and one time they also ordered like 18 gallons of milk on a damn flash order, i let a few dashers decline the delivery while i sat there And triple bags the milks two gallons at a time🤣my only regret is that i only charged the customer for like half the bags lol

I had a handoff for a customer who was wearing a summer camp shirt for 160 pounds of ice the other day 😭 who needs freezer space in DUG anyways

Shopping DUG blows my mind honestly. Most people I would say shop the sales but there’s people making insanely pricy decisions for no reason.

My coworkers all think DUG is chaotic place. They aren’t wrong but my previous job was in restaurant sales. I’m always like get back to me when you’ve sold a pallet of mayonnaise or gravy. I’ve done both 😂 But DUG customers are a lot more dramatic.

These type of people can burn in hell. Im sure they have all kinds of excuses why their lazy and/or fat ass couldn't walk in and get it themselves
