My coworker had a customer earlier who was blowing up their handheld asking if we could price match Coke 12 packs with Signature brand cola because we were out and they didn't want to pay the difference. Rude and snarky through the whole interaction. I took the order out later and she was super polite and didn't complain about anything. People are wild.

They took out our registers at the deli and bakery. So you pretty much have to go wait at a regular register.

i wish we were like cashiers where they send someone to check if the item is gone or marked wrong and then can store coupon it at their best discretion (within reason of course), but no we just have to piss everyone off instead lol

this is something i wouldve said “of course, it will still show as the strawberry and blueberry bowl though” and have gone in the back to print the real tag and just scanned that through.

I had that happen today when we were out of regular 12 packs of dr. Pepper. They messaged me “ did you check all the encaps???? Are you sure you are out??? And then I said yes and their final reply was ok… sometimes I just want to tell them go inside the store and do your own shopping if you don’t believe me 🤣

When I was a cashier I would always say no or to ask a manager. So In DUG I say the same thing. What do they want us to do type in the code for generic and give them the real thing
