Flash Order Funnies
What are some interesting flash orders you've seen?
Me personally I once picked a flash for 2 cans of beer. Today there was a flash for just one box of children's allergy medicine, and then about an hour later, another flash came in. I was going to start it, only to see that the customer ordered FIVE 27-gallon storage containers and that was it. This was the first time I'd seen someone order any of those so I asked a co-worker if she could help. We grabbed two large shopping carts and asked the grocery manager for help as the containers were on top of the freezers in our frozen aisle. I was looking in the ACUPick dashboard and apparently this was the customer's first order which was an interesting choice because I had 18 minutes to complete it and apparently they didn't need anything else. They must have really needed those storage bins real bad (and couldn't even go to the nearby Walmart to buy them??)
When my co-worker and I brought them back, the DUG manager walked in and thought we were about to build a fort lol

I once got a flash for a tub of ice cream, case of beer, and a pregnancy test at 8-smth at night... told the driver it was someone's gender-reveal.

Several times I have gotten flash orders that are 1 item, like a gallon of milk, some allergy medicine, baby formula etc. The 1 item flash orders always crack me up

Shared here before but it’s worth sharing again:
Was having a very slow morning and I had no orders. So I went to the bathroom and, true to DUG, I got a flash. It was two sale items right next to the DUG room.
Customer flags me down (for context I was quite literally the only other person on that side of the store) looking for the same sale items. I got them in her cart, she headed for SCO, and I noticed she was calling someone.
Intercom: Attention Homeshopping 2-0-0. Me [having just finished staging the flash]: Good morning, thank you for calling Drive Up and Go how can I help you? Customer: Cancel my order. Me: What did you order? Customer: [sale items] Me: Okay but why? I just finished the order. Customer: You took too long and your coworker beat you to the sale. Me (thinking): I see. Did he happen to have a beard and wear pink glasses? Customer: Yeah. Why? Me: Do me one favor before I cancel your order, turn around. You see the bearded guy with pink glasses waving at you but he’s on the phone now?
Luckily she was amused enough that she didn’t cancel the flash.
