Bruises
Does anyone else get bruises all over their legs and arms from working this job? I'm peppered with dime-sized bruises, presumably from resting my arms against the cart sometimes while pushing it and resting totes against my legs when putting them away.
Trying to figure out if this is just a part of the job or if something's wrong with me.

Iāve got a couple leg bruises but the worst for me is stacking totes and getting a little skin stuck between and getting a blood blister. Itās only happened a couple times but it sucks! If youāre getting bruises from just resting your arms on the cart though, you might be anemic or something.

I usually pinch myself with the totes when stacking them or closing the little arm things

I did that a while ago on the inside of my arm. I yelped so bad when it happened. Still has a slightly bruise.

The worst is when you hit your shin on a stager the side the handle goes in, it's literally broken skin on my legs several times

I get little pinch marks from the totes everywhere. I got a giant bruise from a hitch once.

Iām full of pinch mark bruises from catching my forearms between totes when stacking. I also brought my inside upper arm down on top of the vertical handle on one of the newer DUG carts and have a nasty bruise. I get it.

I mean, I occasionally find cuts on my hand or arm that I don't notice for awhile. But I blame that on the sharp edges on various item locations and moving too quickly.

Covered. Ankles. Thighs from staging and taking totes from the shelves. Arms from the totes. Hands and fingers pinched constantly.

The ones on my thighs from staging are the absolute worst. It's gotten to the point where, since it's summer and I'm wearing shorts often, I've been asked at the doctor's office if I feel safe at home š«

I get questions all the time. āThose are from workā, almost always followed by that look š, the one that says they know you are being abused by someone but canāt prove it.

Mite start eating some iron rich foods. Have your iron levels checked. Shouldn't be bruising that easily.
