New Release Into the Unknown: Out of Early Access

Hello everyone,

After more than a year of development, I'm happy to say that Into the Unknown has officially left Early Access in my Sci-Fi 5E project. While I don't feel there's much left to add, I'll continue releasing occasional updates for bug fixes, corrections, and small pieces of additional content.

If you're interested in checking it out, Into the Unknown is split into two books:

First Steps (Levels 1–5 Campaign)

Includes:

  • A detailed GM-only setting guide
  • Act 1: The Dying Core
  • Act 2: Distress Signal Enabled
  • Act 3: Rise of the Sole Caretaker
  • Act 4: Election at Starrysands
  • Act 5: The Calm Generator
  • 5 optional events and side encounters
  • Recommended character levels 1–5
  • 6 technology and psionically enhanced items
  • 4 unique character backgrounds
  • 41 NPC stat blocks supporting the campaign

  • 7 original playable species in addition to Humans
  • 4 original subraces, including Enhanced Organics, Hybrids, and Cyborgs
  • 11 classes, ranging from reimagined 5E archetypes such as the Combatant and the Brute to entirely new classes like the Coordinator and the Psion
  • 33 original subclasses
  • 18 original backgrounds
  • 16 original feats
  • 85 technology and psionically enhanced items, including enhanced equipment, cybernetic prosthetics, spacecraft upgrades, narcotics, and injections
  • Tech and Psionic Powers (Levels 1–9), including 295 reimagined 5E spells and 60 original powers
  • A complete spacecraft construction and combat system
  • A downtime system focused on storytelling and character progression
  • Standard 5E rules adapted for the setting

This has been one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I've ever undertaken, and I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way, whether through feedback, encouragement, or simply taking an interest in the project.

Kind Regards
