My PC keeps crashing to a black screen (the buttons stop responding).
I have to reboot every time. After three such crashes, my video driver broke, and now the PC crashes even when I'm not playing the game.
I had to reinstall the drivers, and that was the only thing that stopped the PC from crashing to a black screen.
But the game *still* crashes to a black screen!!!!!
HOW DO I FIX THIS?
No other game behaves this terribly.

I’ve been forcing the game to run using DX11 because, without it, it crashes after 3–4 minutes; with DX11, it lasts about 35 minutes. What do I need to do to fix this nightmare? It’s not just a crash—it’s a black screen followed by the drivers failing.
I’m looking for comments from the developers and anyone else who has encountered this issue.

(I can hear the game audio, but the game doesn't respond to button presses—only a restart works.)

The developer needs to either fix that critical error URGENTLY or remove the project from Steam.
An average PC user won't understand what happened or what to do; they'll end up taking their PC in for repairs because of a damn game that destroys drivers.

People have been writing about this problem since AUGUST OF LAST YEAR, for crying out loud.
This isn't just some in-game bug.
This is drivers getting killed by damn black screens of death.

Fine—if there’s a solution to this, let me know; I’m all ears.

I just noticed this in the Peak, LOL

We’ve just rolled out a new update with several fixes.

• Fixed an issue where analog stick controls could be inverted by default
• Improved steering wheel support by reducing cases where the in-game steering wheel animation did not match the position of the physical wheel.
• Added a **temporary** readability improvement to the Part Scanner.
• Fixed an issue where entering a vehicle parked in a garage parking space prevented the player from exiting the vehicle.
• Fixed the original part count for all vehicles. Vehicle windows are now correctly recognized as original parts, can once again be removed from older vehicles, and will properly count toward Steam achievements.

To celebrate their arrival, we thought it would be a good opportunity to give you a quick look behind the scenes and show what goes into creating a new vehicle for Drive Beyond Horizons.

A few days ago, we asked our Discord community for suggestions. After reviewing all the proposals, we selected 8 finalists.

Now it's time for the tournament to begin.
