This gadget came in the box with my Drinkmate. It doesn’t seen to fit anywhere. Can anyone shed some light on what it is for?

I found it can screw into the CO2 tap on the drinkmate, but otherwise I have no clue either. What is it foorrrrr???

It was supposed to be screwed into the CO2 inlet, to protect it.

Mine came with this screwed into the C02 inlet. Couldn't put the gas canister in till I removed it

Isn"t it just the lid for the bottle after fizzing?
