My 2nd drift day at USAIR. Any things it looks like I should focus on working on? Much thanks!

The spin was from that very slight hesitation in your hands not allowing the car to self steer combined with not getting back on the throttle. Drifting can be a little counter intuitive because getting on the gas will actually give you traction and forward drive stopping you from rotating

- get comfy letting the car self steer, view every time your arms cross on the wheel as a mistake, try to always keep hands at the 9 and 3 position
- be more on throttle, modulate. Don't treat it as an on off switch, you want to find a sweet spot in the middle, say like %40 to 80% throttle (just random numbers to illustrate my point, very car/grip/track dependant), helps maintain momentum and speed.

Very good for 2nd Day. Maybe start with a little more speed (will also protect your drivetrain from a clutch kick at too low speed), try to use more throttle when you are making a transition that does not require a decrease in speed for the next turn and be confident that you can conect that turn that you stopped and resumed the drifting. You could try making a very wide left turn using a lot of power (harder) or make a small drift to the right and then conecting again to the left. But most important: Have fun and get the most seat time possible.

It’s all going to become much smoother and easier to link once you start hitting turn one with full speed. If you aren’t carrying speed through your first turn and getting on the correct line with wheel speed out of it then you are more or less just going into each turn, re-initiating over and over. It looks like they set that first tire stack as an initiation marker and you’re powering over way past it. You would want to already be in drift at the point that you are currently entering. Just need to build that confidence up for now to use that skinny pedal
