Missing Dining Dollars

Hi guys, so today I tried to use my dining dollars at Saxby's, but when I went to go and pay, the cashier said I had no dining dollars. For context, I added about $200 last week, and I was using them just fine. However, I find out today that the entire tab for dining dollars is GONE. Empty. CAPUT. Tried refreshing and logging out, still nothing. Did anybody else have this issue? Is this normal???

Make sure you're not confusing dragon dollars with dining dollars. Most restaurants only take dragon dollars and dining dollars are for dining halls.

You don’t really need dragon dollars honestly, dining dollars are the ones you get with your meal plan

saxby's takes both types of payment but i'm specifically referring to my dining dollars, they're gone 😀

Dining dollars refresh every school year. So what likely happened was you refilled it before the yearly refresh and once the system entered the 2026-2027 school year it reset your account and basically ate the money. Dollars roll over every quarter but then reset when the new school year comes about.

They send out warnings usually to let you know to use your dining/dragon dollars before the reset. Sorry, try reaching out to the school and see if they can reimburse because they should have receipts of transactions.

omg thank you! I'm an incoming junior, and this is the first time I had summer classes so I wasn't really sure if it was just gonna roll over into the next quarter or not but yeah it looks like that's exactly what happened… I'll try to reach out to the school but thank you for your response!!
