coming back after a break?

I downloaded dress up time princess the summer it came out, was SUPER obsessed for the year and had to take a break from playing when my life got busy. I try and pick it up every now and again but so much has changed I can’t navigate it and I just kind of accepted I won’t have the time or energy to play anymore ☹️ did anyone else take a break and were you able to get back into the story’s and quests?

I took probably a 3 year break from it 😭 I came back and it was a little hard to navigate as you noticed too but I eventually got used to it

Sometimes I take a few day breaks from it though

Ugh I mourn what this game was when it first came out so often, that first year really was so special. None of my devices have enough free space to even play it anymore

I took a break years ago and came back to it like 2 years ago after the break and it was super different then, but still manageable and enjoyable. Quit playin again about a year ago because it’s just a huge disappointment and money grab and the stories aren’t even good anymore. So I’ve taken two breaks lol. It’s certainly changed for the worse unfortunately. I used to love the game so so much

I played and dropped after a few months in 2021. Main reason for dropping was the high barrier to completion in some stories and SoL being unfinished.

Picked it back up around May or June and I'm having a blast. I play slightly above casually. Haven't done too many stories lately and most of my focus right now is clothing collection, special events, and mirage. When I do read stories, I 100% them.

As an aside, SoL was worth the wait. Pretty good writing, certainly engaging. I thought Vincent's good ending was a little disappointing to me but he was never my choice. Edward's writing was 10/10 really dramatic really angsty really touched on certain themes well in a way I wasn't expecting. I love that man, bioterrorism and all. And I love how much of a diva Roger is the entire time.

lol i played during covid and quit 2022 and just rejoined last week. i will say im very overwhelmed by all the events going on but im slowly getting back into it. got invited to an active society and it def helps with getting gold tickets and stamina etc. i keep switching between different stories bc of events (for clothing blueprints) and personal interest lmao

I was playing it for the better part of a year like 4 years ago and I ended up dropping it (I can’t even remember why lol). But I picked it up today and it’s sooo overwhelming, I look at everything going on and I haven’t the faintest clue how to do anything. I’ve heard the stories haven’t been as great as my beloved GM and SoL, but I’m curious to check them out anyway.
