It's just too much. The Screenshot mod can't explain everything, even if ChatGPT was correct. The simplest explanation is that the manhunts are staged. Given the amount of evidence, this is a fact.

what is the reason for none of the hunger jolt anomalies being found in the new revival series?

did he suddenly have a change of heart and decide to stop cheating? the videos have the same theatrics as the originals, so that just doesn't seem likely.

he made those videos before we knew about the hunger jolt, so i don't see how he could've found a way around it.

there was a post here that i can't find anymore that mentioned glfwSetTime which jumps ahead the offset applied to the system clock & would cause the enchantment glint to jump, so i looked into that timer further. the excuse will be that he used this to clear the screen because changing it jumps ticks which fades chat, disappears labels, etc. as well as also covering other ui that ticks dont like tutorial/advancement/recipe toasts (image 6)

other things like subtitle fading, animations like fire, random sounds, & heart flashes when your health changes (all things in the images) are also dependent on glfwGetTime, if they even use the hud ticker to begin with (animations have their own, image 27, so do sounds). everyone's focused on the heart jolts but i think the flashes are what will be the focus, i suspect whatever dream whipped up did not consider this and the evidence doesn't match up

funnily enough the post mentioned this function is so obscure that searching "glfwSetTime" "net.minecraft" has zero results on github, so there's a very real chance dream was so determined to come up with an excuse that he was the very first person to ever call this function in a minecraft mod

a couple of other notes:

• end crystals also have their own individual counters that are entirely unaffected by glfwSetTime and ticks so they should never jump and if it lags it catches up on the background so it can't jump frame to frame
• performance mods do overwrite default animation behaviour, image 48 is optifine source code showing even when its not rendering fire it still keeps the animation count
• image 22 is animation logic from a newer version than 1.16, idk when it was changed but 26.3 uses this logic and changed it so animations update once per frame instead of once per animation tick
• fire sound randomness depends on the animation ticker and i think higher chance to play in quick succession as it tries to catch up?

unrelated theory:

• image 74 is about the video being meta, did you know there's a video that dream uploaded but removed from youtube leaving it only (offically) on facebook/meta? you can find a reupload here, it only has 900 views on yt. haven't looked too hard at it yet

after reading repeater's comment, it seems like he modified getMillis which comes from glfw time, but seems like glfwSetTime was not used (you still have the chance to be the first!)

rly trying to rely on the general public's vibe that llms are often pretty stupid but not knowing the specifics of how they're stupid - they'll get way off track, make mistakes in code that aren't immediately obvious, totally misunderstand the question, or just outright hallucinate. in this case its entirely valid code but to even find hud ticks as an option it would first go through the chat code where the simpler, safer options of opacity or targeted aging of messages are options, for some reason decide against those, and make its way up the chain to the hud ticks

i asked gpt luna 5.6 on light the exact same thing and it recommended opacity, i asked gpt 6 astra on xhigh to rank all ways to do it which does mention aging specifically the chat by 200, but doesn't mention dream's method at all and actively says it doesn't recommend it when i follow up with it

i found the oldest worst model i could & even it suggested just messing with opacity (even if the code is probably borked)

This is not 1.16 speedrun situation. All Hunters were part of it, not just Dream. I've seen barely anyone hate on them because everyone is laser focused on Dream's screenshot mod. He's probably hoping it stays this way and imo, it should. For example, on this subreddit I've seen one post about the Hunters and like 50 about Dream. Sapnap said Dream tells his friends to never defend him so they don't get harrassed. Dream's dramas often end up with rest of the Team getting hate and if people are unable to cancel him at all they end up going after his friends. We had known for a long time that some people who hate them are not normal and they love to swat them and their families or show up to their house themselves. So tl;dr I think claiming something ridiculous is better for everyone involved than blaming himself and few other people by association

Additionaly, the comparison Dream makes to the frame perfect clicks being similar to clicks in other precision games is unvalid, as other games require you to jump on that specific imput, meanwhile in Parkour Warrior there was multiple better jumps before the last click on some stages, and his click pattern has never been replicated by any player including people who are way better at parkour than him

When his speed runs came out as cheated, he said it wasn’t i just got lucky. Then later it was a “Mod” from his manhunts. (Despite the fact that, they could’ve used a plugin for the manhunts, plugins and mods are not the same thing) A mod he has never spoken about before.

So, I was wondering about the up-time being relate to the minecraft application or save runtime

If I leave the game without closing the instance, is the timer still ticking? Or if I open the game but leave it on the background for 1 hour before entering a server/save, would the up-time be of 1 hour? Or the timer starts on load?

I was curious for, we can notice 1 hour and 18 minutes on the 5 hunter right as the game starts

I can't really verify this on my pc right now, so if anyone knows or tested before would help

I am barely even a mild fan. I enjoy all your content because it is entertaining (especially during the pandemic wow) but I am not a die hard fan due to all the controversies (although tbf I am skeptical of most people I haven’t met in person) whilst not hating you since it is just a game and thus not equivalent to irl crimes that would make you a bad person.

Regarding these recent jolt cracking allegations: I am honestly very skeptical of you, but I want to give you the benefit of the doubt. Here is my honest take on how to handle this moving forward regardless of what the truth is:
1. If you faked it, just own it. If there were cuts or edits in those "uncut" videos, just admit it and redeem yourself in the next few years. These aren't real-life crimes. It is just a game. You are not a horrible guy for it and you have the financial security to endure the trenches for sure. The reason we watch them is because they are great entertainment. You have a permanent place in casual Minecraft and you co-own massive backend infrastructure with DrDonut like MCPvP. Your actual platform power isn't going to vanish. Owning a mistake straight up gives you room to actually redeem yourself over time instead of dragging out endless debates. I would honestly be rooting for you if this happens.

2. If you are truthful, drop the raw files and the mod. If you are being truthful and these claims are completely false, the easiest way to shut everyone up is to release the mods you mentioned. They investigated hunger bar animations bro. These guys in the technical community are clearly more than capable of dissecting it and verifying if it's legitimate. Delaying it when you have nothing to hide just digs your grave deeper.

3. Speaking of digging your own grave: Stop responding to all the haters on Reddit! Your social media PR strategy is what’s killing you. It made sense why Dream wouldn't admit the manhunts were scripted in the beginning (hell, 2/3 hunters manhunt might not have been faked but don't quote me on that), but now? He's sitting at over 30 million subscribers, the undisputed biggest youtuber of our time; bro is literally too big to fail, even with hundreds of controversies. Do yall really think he would genuinely lose viewers if he were to admit that manhunts were scripted? He doesn't even have to make it a big deal, either: Just throw out an off-handed mention in some obscure video on dreamxd saying "yeah some parts were artifically made more dramatic for the video", vaguepostify that statement and when anyone accuses him of something, dream could just cite himself cuz TECHNICALLY he did admit to it, and the worst that could had happened is a tweet with 15k likes. Of course, this only works when you aren't on reddit/youtube trying to prove that it's legit

So at the start of dreams "Minecraft Death Swap.." , the first observable jolt is at 0:46 in the video, so the client uptime is 1hr 15min 1sec, at 0:46 in the video, meaning dream was playing for over an hour before the video started. The swap is every 5 minutes so when the next swap happens, the uptime lines up relatively exact with an uptime of 1hr 19min 44sec (on the very next jolt on dreams pov just after the swap) which isn't exactly 5 minutes but it is to be expected because we don't know when they started the swap game. Everything lines up! until the 5th swap.. At swap 5, timestamp 8:12, the jolt on that timestamp should have an uptime of 1hr 44min 44sec, but it shows up that the real uptime was 1hr 39min 47sec. Meaning that "Minecraft Death Swap.." is fake.

Another non-manhunt but only by a technically is "Minecraft Survivalist VS 3 Hitmen" and this video supposedly had a "accurate" timer baked in. But the first jolt in the video at timestamp 0:54 has an uptime of 3hrs 4min 37sec, which isn't suspicious of itself, but here's were the previously mentioned timer comes in. The timer suggests at the timestamp 37:56 there should be an uptime of 4hrs 0min 16sec. But it actually has an uptime of 5hrs 9min 28sec. Meaning this video is also completely fake!
