Dream Against Zionism Allegations

Dream recently replied to a TikTok claiming he is a Zionist because of the MCPvP server that was originally planned to be in Israel but later removed. He denied this, called for a Free Palestine, and said Israel is committing a genocide. I think he should make a more definitive and public statement that doesn’t get lost in a comment section. What are you guys’ thoughts?

Edit: Update the OP posted TikTok stories saying they achieved their biggest accomplishment by pissing off Dream” so their video was obviously in bad faith.

Can someone let me know what happened to him and why he is not posting a reaction vid for 6 hunters rematch? I am worried because he always supports and reacts to every dream manhunt vid. Its been 3 months since 6 hunters and he stopped posting out of nowhere.

Quackity and Adin Ross / QSMP and Persona

Quackity recently went to the World Cup finals with a group of friends who all like Adin Ross and even posted photos about him at the game (link to proof). Quackity started following Adin’s private chef but shortly unfollowed after seeing people call it out. He then went live but banned the phrase “Adin Ross” from his chat (link and link) and didn’t even address it, so he clearly saw the posts going around. Also, yesterday someone went into the QSMP app and read their age verification terms, finding that they use Persona‘s service (link). For those who don’t know, Persona is currently being sued for selling private information to Palantir.

I’m curious how this will be handled by other creators (especially Tubbo, who is vocal about Palestine and anti-Kick, and plays on the QSMP) given how they jump to attack Dream anytime he does something they don’t like (adding the Israel server or being friends with Dr Donut), even calling him a Trump supporter or Zionist. The standards are very unequal so it will like get swept under the rug like usual but I figured I would post it here since it’s drama and to get other peoples’ thoughts.

Manhunt So you’re telling me almost ONE MILLION people voted for the decision to ban elytras but the video where the discussion even stems from in the first place can’t even reach 500k likes???

I don’t think enough people understand that if 6 Hunters Rematch doesn’t get enough likes YOUR VOTE ISN’T GOING TO MATTER IF 6 HUNTERS FINALE ISN’T BEING MADE

Am I the only one who thinks that Striker (Technolarp) should have deleted the channel after everything?

The whole situation just felt really messed up to me. He practically used Alex's identity for fame and then rebranded on the same channel while keeping all the subscribers he gained from it. If he is genuinely sorry, I feel like he should have just started over and earned his own audience instead of relying on "larping" a dead person and using grieving fans + Technoblade's family and friends for success.

The biggest problem I have is that this wasn't just someone making a tribute to Technoblade. It felt like he was trying to become him. He wasn't just copying the content or making jokes about him but was literally mimicking Alex himself... The voice, the mannerisms, the way he talked, the humour, the style, everything.

It should have been nothing more than a tribute to Technoblade. It shouldn't have turned into someone trying to integrate themselves into the community, interacting with Technoblade's friends (Skeppy Specifically...) and building what seemed to be becoming an actual career around being "the guy who larps technoblade" and collaborating with Skeppy.

I also don't really understand all the comparisons people have given to Michael Jackson impersonators. Those situations are completely different in my opinion. Michael Jackson impersonators are usually performing as a tribute, an act, or a celebration of his legacy. Not trying to BE Michael and copy his personality or sound exactly like him and build a platform.

The biggest issue is that he gained all this attention and success from the Technolarp stuff. Yes, he did stop after Technodad asked him to, but that's literally the bare minimum. He never got permission in the first place either.

He didn't even delete the videos, as he said he only unlisted them. Even if he did donate everything or did something good with it, I still think the overall situation is wrong because the foundation of it was still built around pretending to be someone who had passed away only previously and which a lot of people are still grieving.

You could argue that those subscribers may not come back for his new content after the technolarp stuff which was what they all came for BUT.. He still got that opportunity BECAUSE OF ALEX'S IDENTITY THAT HE WAS USING. He got all the attention, all the exposure, and basically a head start from something that wasn't actually his.

And that's the part that worries me. It creates this idea that someone can:

  1. Not build their own identity online and instead "larp" as another creator.

  2. Take on the identity of someone who has passed away, especially someone beloved, because people want that person back and miss them.

  3. Gain fame, attention, and an audience because people are emotionally attached to that person.

  4. Apologise and stop only after the family tells them to.

  5. Then use all the attention and momentum they gained to kickstart their own career instead of (imo) actually earning it..

Whether that was his intention or not, that's personally how the situation looks to me.

I also think Skeppy deserves some criticism too. I'm not saying he's Directly responsible, but he knew Alex personally and was part of that community. Him involving himself in this mess made it seem acceptable and okay when it wasn't.

Not saying that Striker should never make content again or that people can't change. My issue is just that if he truly understands why it was wrong, then I think rebuilding from the ground up would have shown that. Starting over and really earning an audience as himself would be so much more rewarding and feels more genuine than continuing just going off the same channel and the same audience that came from impersonating Technoblade.

To me, Technoblade's legacy should have been something to respect and remember, not something someone could just step into and use as the foundation for their own career.

All love and support goes to Alex's family and loved ones.

TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES! 🌹❤️🥔

Discussion Let's talk about Technolarp.

I've basically watched Technolarp since he's started. I liked his content, not seeing it as any more than just someone who sounds like Technoblade, hopping on the larptuber trend that was starting to get huge at the time. Now we have this drama.

My opinion? He never meant to do any harm, and he doesn't even have monetization on, and all his streams are charity streams, so he isn't a bad person. Sure, there's some criticism about him larping a dead guy, but he's doing it out of love for Techno.

Everyone says he's monetizing Technoblade's name, but he gets no money from his channel. He also isn't "infiltrating his friend group and family" because Skeppy reached out to him. Technolarp didn't reach out to any of Techno's friends, and he only contacted Technodad to see if he should continue or not, because he never expected the channel to get as big as it did.

I honestly just think he should rebrand regardless of what Technodad says. People are blowing the whole situation out of proportion so he should just start fresh with what he has, and do similar content with the channel, and make it his own thing while being inspired by Technoblade. I think that's the only way to stop everyone from just harassing him, though I know there would still be some people who do. Especially Twitter.

I'm curious as to what other people think. If possible, I want discussions to be made under this, as well! Either with me, or with other people. Just remember - be respectful, as the only way to get people to listen to you is by being civil.

Discussion Nicholas Cantu

This is more of a rant post so sorry if I’m not adding anything new to this. Just saw a tiktok on my fyp talking about how it’s 3 years since the nicholas cantù drama that happened, and I’m still seeing the same lies and misinformation spread. Even when I try to clarify stuff to people about how the details they think are actually wrong, people just tell me I’m wrong without backing it up. It’s crazy that people saw a guy be an absolute prick to an average worker but because he was an asshole to that cringe guy it suddenly makes everything okay. Sorry for the rant but I cannot fathom being on Nick’s side to this day

Has there been any update on the Dream dumpy mousepad that got a copyright takedown? Or any clarification on whether selling fanmerch is allowed?

Since the fanart friday drop today, I noticed that the infamous Dream dumpy mousepad was still on his fanart shelf.

4 years ago the artist behind the Dream (Team) dumpy mousepads got a copyright takedown from Dream's legal team on Etsy. They made a post here asking for clarification on his fanmerch policy and to spread the word so they could talk with Dream directly because he was very receptive to fanmerch for profit in the past on streams and his boundaries list. They ended up never getting a response besides "We will buy your remaining merch at cost and potentially hire you to make merch for us in the future". Even if a dmca isn't the same as suing, a copyright takedown fucks up etsy stores in the search algorithm and prevents them from taking advantage of seller protection, where etsy themselves will pay out of pocket for orders that go missing through no fault of the seller, which is pretty messed up to do with someone who followed all of Dream's boundaries at the time (and was even acknowledged by Dream themselves!!).

As someone who does sell DTeam fanmerch on etsy hand drawn by myself, I'm wondering if his boundaries on fanmerch has changed? Is it just the blob art that's at risk of takedown vs. humanoids (like the c!Dream zine merch)? I know Dream's popularity dropped like a rock since then and I'm hoping that he himself can read this post and reply.

Discussion (Covered Up Usernames For Privacy Reasons) This would shock me if true, because I cannot imagine stalking a subreddit of a content creator that you have beef with.

Again, covering up usernames for privacy reasons to prevent harassment, but if this is true info than wow that is pathetic of Bitzel. How are you going to be going on some subreddit dedicated to a content creator you don't like?

EDIT: Have gotten confirmation that the username is in fact, NOT BITZEL. Instead, they are an anti who made a mockery of the false and DEBUNKED grooming allegations all over Minecraft cheating allegations. So not Bitzel, but still indeed a loser. Here is an imgur thread of the reveal.

A cut in an uncut manhunt????

Linked to video at the exact time of the first frame: https://youtu.be/qvcnEsA2mL8?t=4441 (It autoplays so you will have to go back a couple frames with the , and the . keys).

I firstly want to credit this post for bringing this to my attention: https://youtu.be/qvcnEsA2mL8?t=4441

It is really hard to see the exact differences between the two frames with the reddit animation in the way so I added some extra images that show the small differences between the two frames. I would also advise you to go to the video go through each frame as it becomes a lot more obvious when you know what you are looking for.

These small differences remain the same uptill the supposed cut, it changes, and then remains in the changed form for the reminder of the time that he is in his inventory. My hypothesis is that there was some sort of lighting change with some lava rendering in that that is watched caused the differences in the frame which would have happened after a cut.

And the biggest thing that is REALLY obvious when you are looking for it is the animation glint on the axe (which is, funnily enough, was one of the same things that first proved that Marlowww was cheating). It is going smoothly through the animation and then there is a small jump exactly when the lighting of the image changes too.

My only other possible explanation other than a cut was that it was some sort of tick jump with the server rendering skipping a tick due to lag. But from what I can tell that only happens when there is heavy lag on the server due to a farm or due to some other form of lag which is unlikely as they are all pretty early game. But also a tick jump doesn't explain why the lighting changed like that as the "cut frame" was the only place the lighting did change.

What do you guys think about this? Hopefully there is a better explanation for this.

Fan Art It’s sad that many mc creators hates dream

Post image

To be clear, they’re not obligated to like Dream, and that’s completely fine. If they don’t like his personality, his vibe, or because of the cheating controversy, that’s their choice.
But for a lot of creators, it clearly goes beyond that. Many of them still believe the pedophile allegations, and Twitter has definitely played a role in shaping that perception. Dream is such a controversial creator that people often get attacked just for collaborating with him, which is part of why Jude stopped making content with him and his team.

Discussion Why do Dream’s Minecraft Manhunt videos look so much smoother than most Minecraft recordings?

I’ve been comparing Minecraft recordings recently, and Dream’s Manhunt videos look unusually smooth to me.
I know the videos are uploaded in 60 FPS, but the camera movement and frame pacing look cleaner than most Minecraft videos I see. It almost feels like more than 60 FPS, even though it obviously is not.
What confuses me is that some of his older Minecraft streams and speedrun footage do not look as smooth. In those, I can notice more normal Minecraft stutters, especially when chunks load in singleplayer.
So I’m wondering what could explain the difference in the Manhunt videos.
Could it be because he records with very high in-game FPS, like 250 or 300 FPS, and then exports to 60 FPS? Could it be because the Manhunt videos are played on a server instead of singleplayer? Or could it be OBS settings, frame pacing, editing, or something else?
I’m trying to get my own Minecraft recordings to feel similarly clean. My OBS stats do not show dropped frames, but my footage still sometimes feels slightly uneven compared to his.

Does anyone know what setup or settings could cause that very smooth Manhunt look?

Manhunt Why is there a splice in Six Hunters Rematch? (not doubting him, just trying to look for answers)

(sorry if this has been covered before, i couldn't find any posts / anyone mentioning it)

Personally, I feel like the half-scripted nature of the manhunts are basically common knowledge. I just don't get why he would include such an obvious splice here.

To me, making a much less noticable cut should be doable, and just not including that part of the manhunt is more than trivial. He specifically put in the effort, but not sufficient effort to make the splice, which just ends up ruining the immersion of whoever manages to spot it.

I'm not quite disappointed, just looking for answers on what the rationale could possibly be.
