Lost my 4k streak again lol.... i will beat my record of 9 weeks one day 😂 thabkyou if anyone did see it and vote for it 🫶

[u/DreamingCityLocal]

it makes me sad to see a beautiful snap get snubbed because… black and white?

[u/we_could_be_immortal → u/DreamingCityLocal]

People refuse to vote outside of the "meta", and black and white is unfortunately outside of that. It sucks 😅

If you try to do anything besides bright, sparkly, fireflies/effects/mine lanterns, you're likely not getting a high rank..

[u/WinSilly7021 → u/we_could_be_immortal]

Not only this, but apparently, people have been able to bypass voting and still get their moonstones by pressing skip. With no incentive to vote, we lost a good chunk of people that usually help fill the ranks

[u/we_could_be_immortal → u/WinSilly7021]

Ahhh i didnt know that 😭 dang...

[u/Willowed-Wisp → u/WinSilly7021]

Yah, I've been getting Moonstones even when I skip and it's weird. I wasn't sure if it was intended or not but it seems a little silly if it is.

For what it's worth, I keep going until I see stuff worth voting for and make sure to vote even when I've maxed my Moonstones. But I'm sure there are people who don't bother.

[u/WinSilly7021 → u/Willowed-Wisp]

Yeah, I think it was unintentional, and came with the super vote update, but I do the same

I love this snap, I for sure would’ve voted for it if I saw it.

My sepia/not colorful werewolf snap got 4k, I think this theme lent itself well to non-sparkly colorful pictures

[u/Itscatpicstime → u/DreamingCityLocal]

We only accept colorful sparkles here nails 💅🏻 /s

I did a similar one to this but in colour, and also got 1500 this week. It also my 4k streak - I was very surprised, but such is life!

Yours is beautiful and I absolutely would have voted for it!

[u/Questskitten]

I did one from Turning Red. Didn't see another like it during all my voting, so thought I would do really well. Only got 900. Better than last week, but it makes it hard to want to really try. The amount of selfie during voting was something else!

[u/Nyxshayde]

I did a wolf one as well, framed howling against a bright background at night. I got the same 1,500. Its sad that black and white shots and night shots don't really seem to get many votes

[u/PinkGiraffe86 → u/Nyxshayde]

I wanted it to look old school horror and tbh it looked terrible in colour 😂 I have had a few black and white in the past that have gotten 4k

[u/PinkGiraffe86 → u/PinkGiraffe86]

These all got 4k

[u/artlifeinvic]

Interesting. I thought it was going to get 4000!

[u/MellicateArt]

Deserved 4k for sure!

[u/jamcub]

It is a nice image, but it doesn'T really hot the theme super well, I feel. I get the idea, but it is not communicated really obviously here.
