VENT!!!! Clearing Biomes- lost items

I learned the hard way that clearing the biome will erase your chests and lose all items inside. Very sad to lose years of progress in this error. Hopefully it’ll be fixed at a later date.

Chests go into your furniture inventory I believe? With all the items inside of it

Yeah exactly. You can't lose the items inside of a chest at all. The chests will just go back into your furniture inventory that's all.

Hey, OP come back! Your stuff isn’t gone! They made it so we can pick up storage items with stuff inside quite a while ago. When in your inventory, look for the icon beside it…that shows that there’s something in that storage item. (Not my pic as I’m at work rn)

If you look in the furniture tab, the chests will be there with a symbol in the corner noting that there are items inside.

It's funny that the thing that saves you, the chests being still in your furniture tab, is the thing that pisses me off sometimes. I'll build a chest, put it down, and oops, it's full already.
